Alright, this thread is for asking OOC questions that pertain to your character/his story (as opposed to PMs, and those clog my inbox and are less centralized). Feel free to post any reminders/notes to yourself about Korack here if you want. This thread is also for IC scenes that Korack participates in without the rest of the party present (whether he goes to scout out a room ahead of everyone else, goes on an independent shopping excursion while in town, etc.)

Remember to subscribe to this thread too!

Since it seems Korack's been on the Wake Whisper for a while. Is there anything in particular he would/should know about it's crew, what's happened since he's been on board or about their current mission and hunting the She-da-zhong?

Just curious so I can add stuff in if needed. Thanks.

Because of the meddling of the Corsairs and some other contracts, not many of the pirate hunting vessels have been in direct conflict with the she-da-zhong fleet just yet. He knows the information that Mattijra put forward - that they use projectile weapons and poisons and keep exotic venomous pets. He's fought them maybe once before, which is how he knows that healing away the poison is the way to go.

As for the crew, the Captain and Hunters are all human men. The first mate is a gnoll male, and the crew itself contains various races, but no women. The two men that Amirah knows from her backstory were rescued from the wreckage of Copper after Korack had a vision that they were in need of rescue. In spite of this, the blackbearded superstitious one (who Haggar calls "Hard-Ass") doesn't like Korack because he is pretty overtly magical.

Feel free to make a Religion check if you want to see if Korack knows more about the priests of Martuakh.

Alright thanks and sure why not. Religion isn't his strong suit as a nomadic tribesman probably hasn't heard too much about other's religions, but perhaps the spirits will be kind and give him some advice on the matter.

Korack is not aware of the limits of 'Zhong priestly magic, but he knows it usually involves magical poisons and illusions. He recalls that their god is known for patience and planning (or, to some cultures, truancy and laziness), so the fleet has likely not been idle while they amass in the oceans. Some manner of defenses are likely. Someone more well-versed in foreign religions would likely know more than he does.
