I Want to Build a Dragon

I've made dragon-like characters before, but they always tend to focus on one aspect(breath weapon, natural attacks, fear, or magic). How would one go about making a beastly character as close to a dragon with the least LA (no just making a wyrmling or a half-dragon and calling it done)?

Dragonborn/Kobold Dragon Shaman?

Strait Totemist works fine. Breath weapons, energy resistance, flight, lots of natural attacks, etc.

If you want a more powerful breath weapon, go Dragonfire Adept.

If you want spells, go Sorcerer, and load up on the draconic themed feats.

Do not use Dragon Shaman. It's garbage.

Goliath Dragonborn Totemist 2/ sorcerer X/ soulcaser X maybe?

Flight, natural attacks, breath weapon, arcane spells... I think that covers it.

Or a kobold with the feat that turns you into a dragon and using alter self to turn into actual dragons.
