I'm having trouble picking through the Polymorph any Object rules.

Buy two scrolls of PaO, and cast, cast - I'm a Planetar, permanently! (outside of dispelling, I realize)

Now I start gaining levels. Let's say three levels.

Do I add my levels onto my Planetar's 14 HD so I would be up to 17 HD or would I stay at 14 HD?

Now, someone dispells it. I repeat my PoAs to turn back into a Planetar.

If I was up to 17 HD before the dispelling, am I back down to 14 HD?

I think so, but I wanted to get the Giant's opinion.

Polymorph any object does not grant a target HD, it simply gives them a form, and many of the benefits of the form. Note that you are not actually a planetar, simply in the form of one. This means you retain your own saves, skillpoints and HP, even your HD (you'd still need at least 14 HD to assume the form of a planetar, as per the polymorph rules). If you gain levels while in planetar form, you gain all the benefits of a normal level-up, adding a class level onto your previous class levels.
