View Full Version : Usual "Report Post" response time?

I've pushed the little "Report Post" button a few times since I've been here, and never seen anything indicating my report was valid / invalid. Is any feedback given when these are acted on?

What is the usual "response time" for reporting a post? If I have an issue where I feel like someone is "poisoning" a thread with repeated insults and intentionally abrasive language, is there a better way to raise this issue, so that it can get addressed before the thread loses momentum?

Sheriff: Don't expect a response. The system just doesn't do that. If a long time goes by (judge what that means yourself given the circumstances), just re-report it.

No, there isn't any other method other than reporting the problematic posts. I suppose, in an extreme emergency like posted porn images or hate speech directed at a Playgrounder, you might PM me or another mod you see online. But for almost every issue, just report and go on about your business.
