Temple of Iames II

Tehanu stands up, "Any plans for today?"

[Lord Iames Osari]

I thought maybe we could take a walk.

[wxdruid]

"That sounds nice, let me get changed." She turns and walks back to the bedroom.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak waits.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu comes back out dressed and ready to go. She smiles and gives him a good morning kiss, "I'm ready"

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak kisses her back, then takes her hand and leads her out the door.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak and Tehanu appear just outside the door. They go inside and go to bed.

Tehanu wakes up and kisses Lyrak before she gets dressed. She goes into the sanctuary to pray and then into the study to talk and feed hTehanu.

Lyrak gets up, dresses, and goes to pray, smiling at Tehanu and hTehanu as he goes by.

She smiles as he goes past, but stays in the study until he finishes with his prayers.

Lyrak finishes praying and goes to join Tehanu and hTehanu. How're you feeling?

"Much better after a good night's sleep." hTehanu flies over and lands on Lyrak's shoulder. She rubs her small head against his cheek.

Lyrak smiles and strokes her feathers.

[wxdruid]

hTehanu chirps and nibbles on his hair. Tehanu smiles and kisses his other cheek, "Anything you want to do tonight?"

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak shakes his head. Not really.

[wxdruid]

"Hm, well let me think..."

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak waits, continuing to stroke hTehanu.

[wxdruid]

"How about Hank's, we haven't been there in a long time and the last time I think you were wearing a bathrobe?" she chuckles, "Oh, how I love to tease you."

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak grins. That's right, I was. It sounds good to me.

[wxdruid]

"Need to do anything before we go?"

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak shakes his head.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu smiles wickedly, "Lead the way, my Lord."

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak leads her to the door and opens it for her.

[wxdruid]

She grins as she watches him and walks outside.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak follows her out.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu walks inside and looks around.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak walks inside and makes a beeline for the bedroom.

Tehanu chuckles as she closes the door to the streets and follows him into the bedroom. She finds her sash and closes the bedroom door.

Tehanu wakes up and snuggles close to Lyrak, breathing in his scent as she nibbles on his ear. He slowly wakes up and Tehanu pulls the blankets up.

Matt walks in and asks to see the head priest or the lady with whom he conversed a day ago

Photos comes back and knocks on their door. Someone here to see you.

Tehanu groans and looks at the time. She kisses Lyrak and gets out of bed, gets dressed and goes out front, "Yes?"

I was wondering if you could tell me where the police office was. I was going to try and get a job there. Are they selective? Will they let me join? he begins to panic a bit more than neccesary

((You'll probably be seeing a good deal of him soon))

Tehanu watches him with amusement. "You want to join the Town Police? Why ever would you want to do that?"

I was in the "army" and police back home and seeing as there is no army here I would like to lend my hand to the police.

[wxdruid]

"Well, that should be interesting then. I hope you enjoy it," she says in a slightly sarcastic tone. "You go outside and find the Town Police building. I don't know how you can possibly miss it."

Oh, well I wasn't really looking he rubs the back of his head Thanks though! See ya later And he walks out

Tehanu smirks and goes over to kneel in front of the statue and pray.

Lyrak also gets up, dresses, and goes to pray.

Lyrak finishes tending to the last NPC of the day, and turns to Tehanu. Anything in mind for this evening?

"Me? I just want the warmth of your body next to mine....."

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak grins. I meant besides that.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu grins and saunters towards him, she puts one hand on his chest, "I don't really care, whatever you would like to do tonight Lover."

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak licks his lips as he looks her up and down, thinking.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu shrugs the sleeve of her dress down for him to ponder on.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak slowly smiles. I know. Why don't we go to the kitchen? I can start teaching you to cook.

[wxdruid]

"Sounds like fun" as she contemplates how many times she can distract him in the process.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak leads the way to the kitchen, gleefully contemplating those same ways.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu watches him walk into the kitchen before shrugging her sleeve down a bit further and following him in.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak takes out a pot, creates water in it, and then steps back. We'll start with something easy. You just have to light the stove; I keep it filled with wood.

[wxdruid]

"Me? light wood on fire?" *sigh* Tehanu finds the flint and steel and starts working on it. "You are a cruel taskmaster."

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak raises his eyebrows, having assumed that she would simply use prestidigitation to light the kindling.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu gets frustrated and scorches the wood and it lights on fire with an impressive whoosh.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak grins. Now we wait for the water to boil.

[wxdruid]

"How long does it take for water to boil," as she stands back up and looks in the pot at the water.

[Lord Iames Osari]

It depends on how much heat is being applied. I'd say to wait for a few more minutes.

[wxdruid]

She stands over it watching the water.....

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak shakes his head, grinning. You have obviously never heard the old saying: "A watched pot never boils." He goes up behind her and puts his arms around her waist.

Tehanu puts her head back against his shoulder and looks at him, "Obviously"

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak kisses her.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu moves her hips slightly and kisses him back.

[Lord Iames Osari]

How long they stand there, Tehanu isn't quite sure, but suddenly Lyrak pulls away and nods to the pot. The water's boiling; now you need to add the noodles. He reaches into a cabinet and takes down a box, which he then offers to her.

"What is it I'm making?" as she spills part of the noodles on the floor trying to get them out of the box and into the pot of boiling water, 3/4 of them make it in.

It's pasta. Like the Alarra Alfredo they have at the SMBR, only not as fancy.

"Oh, what are we putting on top of it?"

[Lord Iames Osari]

I have some pesto, and some tomato sauce. Which would you prefer?

[wxdruid]

"I'll try the pesto, sometimes less is better." as she lightly bumps her hips into his.

[Lord Iames Osari]

That's true, Lyrak agrees, kissing her exposed shoulder and easing her sleeve further down.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu shrugs her shoulder up a bit as he kisses it and stirs the noodles.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak nibbles on her ear, and one hand drifts up to start easing the other shoulder of her dress off.

"How do you know when they are done?" as she smiles to herself in anticipation of dinner and more.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Use the spoon to lift a noodle out of the water and eat it to see how soft it is.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu leans over, allowing her dress to fall a little as she scoops one noodle out to taste, blowing on it carefully first.

[Lord Iames Osari]

The pasta is still rather firm.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu looks back at him, one sleeve already down, the other about to fall. "I think it needs more time."

[Lord Iames Osari]

Let me taste, Lyrak says.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu grins, "Me or the noodles?"

[Lord Iames Osari]

I meant the noodles... that time. Lyrak grins back.

[wxdruid]

"I don't know about that, you keep trying to slip my dress down....."

[Lord Iames Osari]

Just let me taste one of the noodles.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu steps to one side and watches him, leaning forward when he does.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak steps forward and tastes one of the noodles. Just a bit longer, he says.

[wxdruid]

"Okay," as she trails one hand down his back.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak smiles at her and takes out the jar of pesto.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu smiles back and gets out the plates and silverware, putting them on the table.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak drains the pasta, then adds the pesto and stirs it up.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu puts her arms around his waist and her head on his shoulder as she watches him.

[Lord Iames Osari]

There, it's ready.

[wxdruid]

"Hm, I think you did all the hard work"

[Lord Iames Osari]

Pasta is very easy to fix. It's not like any of it was very hard, Lyrak says, fixing her plate.

[wxdruid]

"So you say, I'd rather eat it than cook it." She takes her plate and hands him his.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak takes it and fixes himself a portion, then goes to the table. There's nothing wrong with that.

[wxdruid]

"Maybe I'll learn enough to make you breakfast in bed one morning? That could be very entertaining." Tehanu follows him over and sits across from him, setting her plate down.

[Lord Iames Osari]

It could be. Lyrak picks up his fork and begins eating.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu rolls her eyes since he missed the obvious..... She eats her pasta.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak puts down his fork and smiles at her. You like it, I take it?

[wxdruid]

"Lover, you are what I like, anything else takes second place." She eats every bite of pasta on her plate, making it clear that it was good.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak's smile softens. I know. He picks up their dishes and puts them aside, to be cleaned later. Then he turns to her with a broad grin.

[wxdruid]

She raises her eyebrows and slowly licks her lips as she saunters towards him, shrugging off the other sleeve of her dress.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak pulls her into his arms and kisses her passionately.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu kisses him back, slowly sliding her hands up under his shirt.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak slips one hand through the slit in her dress while the other remains in the small of her back.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu breathes lightly in his ear before she licks it. She wraps one leg around his and leans her head back to expose her neck.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak trails kisses down her neck and shoulder.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu backs him up on the kitchen table as she slides her hands up his chest and the curtain rapidly falls.

[Renegade Paladin]

Gaheris stepped into the Temple, his face set into a grim mask. He looked around quickly before turning to Photos. "I need to talk to Lyrak, now. I don't care what he's doing or whether he's sleeping; I guarantee this is more important."

[Lord Iames Osari]

Photos bobs and zooms off to the back. After a few moments, Lyrak emerges. You wanted to talk to me, Gaheris?

[Renegade Paladin]

The paladin lord nodded. "You're in danger, Lyrak. The Mafia has a hit out on you. I don't know who put them up to it, but that can wait." He cast a nervous glance over his shoulder at the door.

[Lord Iames Osari]

The Mafia? But... Oh. Damn him! He sighs. Thank you, Gaheris. I'll be on my guard.

[Renegade Paladin]

His eyes narrowed. "Damn who, now?"

[Lord Iames Osari]

My father, Svadris. He's come back after years of being thought dead, and he wants the house back. He must have hired the Mafia to kill me.

[Renegade Paladin]

Gaheris' narrowed eyes went wide. "Hired? No," he responded. "Svadris is the Don."

[Lord Iames Osari]

He is? Lyrak's eyes go wide as well. That's... well. At least I know where to find him now. I'd been reluctant to kill him before, but father or not, he's gone too far.

[Renegade Paladin]

Gaheris nodded. "He tasked ESARS to the hit. That droid is dangerous. Svadris also said that the Mafia was to hit someone named Kerigan; I'm not sure who that is." He took a breath and looked around. "Svadris said he wouldn't go on the hit against you, so I presume he's going for Kerigan. Perhaps some remaining fatherly affection underneath the undead horror he has become?" Gaheris cocked an eyebrow upwards.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak snorts. I doubt it. He's already attacked the temple on his own. It's more likely the recognition that he can't defeat me himself. He yawns. Thank you for the information, Gaheris.

[Renegade Paladin]

A malicious smile crossed the paladin's face. "He should worry more about me. Only reason I haven't staked him yet is because I want to worm out more of what he knows."

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak nods. Well, thank you again. He heads back to the bedroom.

[Renegade Paladin]

Gaheris gave a curt nod to Lyrak's retreating back before turning to leave.

[Hogo]

A squirrel wanders into the temple. It looks around the area. as it climbs along the wall, interested.

[The Black Prince]

Matt walks in asking to see the head priest.

[Castaras]

The creature sneaks in, watching Matt.

A click comes from the shadows, like a bolt being loaded.

[The Black Prince]

Matt doesn't hear it.

((I suggest you don't try. I mean you can, but you'll end up in jail)) ((Have mercy!))

[Castaras]

A clawed hand rises from the shadows, hand crossbow in hand. A flash of magic shoots from another hand, as a poisoned bolt fires from the crossbow.

(( Spell was finger of death ))

((It is aimed at Matt right?))

The poisoned bolt hits Matt in the back and poison spreads through his body as he switches personas and uses a remove disease a a 13 lvl paladin. The magic hits him in the face, but he makes the save.

[Castaras]

A muttering comes from the shadows as another bolt shoots towards Matt. A strange humming comes from the shadows, and out steps an elder fire elemental. It rushes at Matt, attacking.

[The Black Prince]

Matt Dodges the bolt and the elemental drawing his saber and trying a Smite Evil on his attacker.

((plus the sword is holy booyah!))

Edit: When at close range he brings up his revolver and shoots straight at Fus's eye.

[Castaras]

(( Elder elemental is neutral ))

The elemental dodges out of the way, swinging down again. A lightening bolt lashes from the shadows towards Matt.

((I attacked Fus not the Elemental))

[Castaras]

(( Oops, I'll revise that attack. ))

Fus leaps out of the way of both attacks, with only a light scratch. The holy power sears him. He throws another lightening bolt at Matt, as the elemental attacks again.

Matt doges the spell at the cost of being hit by the elemental and bashed into a wall. ((BAM!!!)) He limps up and uses a CSW. ((Paladin again))

[Castaras]

(( That is one annoying Paladin. ))

Fus brings out his +5 shortsword and sneak attacks Matt while the elemental tries to hit.

[The Black Prince]

((He next to a wall 30' away you can't hit him with a sword))

((Also he's not dead yet because he has been in many wars fighting those superior in strength and numbers. He can handle himself))

[Castaras]

(( Flanking? ))

Fus draws out of his pocket a gem and throws arcane power out of it towards Matt. (( Spell = Weird ))

The elemental carries on attacking.

Tehanu walks out to where they are (this is a private house as well as a Temple), she has a dagger in one hand.

"STOP!"

Luckily this time his SR gobbles it up but the elemental hits a bone jarring gash on Matt's side. Matt cast another CSW and shoots the elemental in the face ((Crit))

((I know, but he attacked me))

Tehanu mutters about idiots and casts Waves of Fatigue at both of them.

[Castaras]

(( Ouchie. ))

The elemental roars in pain, and attacks again.

Level: Sor/Wiz 9
Targets: Any number of creatures, no two of which can be more than 30 ft. apart
This spell functions like phantasmal killer, except it can affect more than one creature. Only the affected creatures see the phantasmal creatures attacking them, though you see the attackers as shadowy shapes.
If a subject's Fortitude save succeeds, it still takes 3d6 points of damage and is stunned for 1 round. The subject also takes 1d4 points of temporary Strength damage. ))

Fus charges and stabs again, saving against the wave of fatigue.

The spell hits Matt and he goes down hard still shooting at the elemental and Fus.

((He attacked me first for no reason it's not my fault.))

[Castaras]

(( Damn. ))
Fus weakens, but throws a wish to rid himself of the effects. He stabs Matt, aiming for the heart. The elemental stands on Matt and hits him on the head.

Tehanu fires a lightning bolt towards Fus, "STOP THIS!"

((you are both fighting in here, she is not a good alignment and would prefer to incapacitate both of you))

A Matt casts dispel magic and dodges the strike which still hits his side he roars in pain and anger at his own helplessness

[Castaras]

Fus leaps from the lightening bolt, summoning a Nightmare to attack Tehanu. It charges. Fus then stabs at Matt, the fire elemental holding Matt down.

[Kyrian]

A man enters the temple and sees the fighting.

"Now now...I believe the lady asked for this to stop..."

[The Black Prince]

Matt weakly sits up and casts CMW then performs defensive actions no longer attackng.

To Fus Give Up You are out numbered, out of luck and under arrest.

Tehanu makes her save, and ignores the nightmare, she casts Enervation at Fus (again no save, gives negative levels)

[Castaras]

Fus stabs one last time, with a true strike spell backing it.

The Nightmare and Fire elemental carry on attacking.

He then casts wish once again to ignore the Enervation.

Matt takes it in the gut and falls unconcious from the pain ((-5 Health you might wanna hurry))

[Castaras]

Fus stabs again, with another true strike behind it. The elemental and nightmare stand and guard Fus.

Tehanu casts Circle of Death around Fus

His armor gobbles up the strike
((Am I in the circle cause I'm already unconscious))

Fus attempts to slit Matt's throat, as the spell fails (( He is level 30...more than 9 hit die in him, as I read it. )). The nightmare charges at Tehanu.

Tehanu continues to ignore the nightmare, and casts Burning Blood at Fus

((she left Matt out of the circle))

Matt suddenly jumps to the side as he switches personas to his less strong, but concious main personality. Seeing as Fus is flat-footed he slices at him with all his might ((Another Crit+Holy Ow))

((No smite sorry))

"You are both going to die for this" She casts Death Armor on herself.

[Castaras]

(( Holy Ouchie, Batman! ))

Fus screams in pain, and uses his magic to teleport away. The nightmare and fire elemental proceed to hit whoever they like.

[Kyrian]

((Nope, the man sees that Tehanu is trying to hurt you both to the point that the fight's stopped. He's not stupid))

The man watches.

Matt attempts to help Ahra subdue the remaining enemies.

((Sorry for the damages I have to go now.))

((the nightmare spell produces a vision and she made her save))

Tehanu summons a ghast that attacks the fire elemental.

[Castaras]

The two creatures are easily killed. A small blue gem is lying on the floor.

[Kyrian]

The man shifts the welding goggles that covers his eyes slightly.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu scoops up the gem and looks around.

[Kyrian]

The man continues to lean in the doorway.

[Castaras]

The gem glows brightly.

(( Seeking jewel, will find the person whose magic resonates inside. ))

Tehanu ignores the unconscious Matt and walks over to the man, "What did you need?" She tucks the jewel down her cleavage.

[Kyrian]

"Looking for a place where I can worship the dark."

[wxdruid]

She gives him a once over, "This is the place, the statue is right there." She gestures towards it. "This Temple is dedicated to the Light, the Grey and the Dark."

[Kyrian]

He looks like he'd be pretty strong in melee fight. Kinda unusual for him to be wearing extra dark welding goggles though. He raises an eyebrow.

"Light, Grey, and Dark?"

[Castaras]

A voice sounds through the room, squeaky and high pitched.

I will find you, copper. You should watch your back...

[wxdruid]

Tehanu sighs, "Idiots, both of them."

"Yes, the Light, the Grey and the Dark, pray to him and find out. I'm going to go eat breakfast."

[Kyrian]

He slowly extends his hand.

"Name's Kal. Would've joined in a few moments ago, but didn't want to only infuriate you more."

[wxdruid]

"Fine, Kal, if you want niceness, talk to Lyrak later after I'm through with him for the morning."

(Matt wasn't unconscious))
Um well I came to see the head priest, but I could come back later.

((I can check back every 30 minutes or so))

Tehanu looks down at Matt, "Lyrak, the head priest is still asleep. He will be awake later."

((you said you had to go so I just said that to explain your absence of being online))

[Kyrian]

Kal walks past Tehanu and sits in one of the first pews.

Tehanu leaves Matt and Kal to do whatever as long as they don't try to destroy the place. She walks back into the kitchen, picking up some breakfast as she heads back to the bedroom.

Matt leaves letting photos know that he will be at the police station giving his report.

It was just self-defense. I mean it wasn't my fault. He was clearly evil.

Tehanu opens the bedroom door and sets the breakfast on the nightstand. She wakes up Lyrak in her own special way and pulls the covers up.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Thank you for the breakfast in bed, Lyrak smiles. I enjoyed it a lot.

Tehanu smiles, "I knew you would, when I'm included."

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak kisses her.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu kisses him back, "Did you want to pray today? or stay in bed all day?"

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak sighs. Pray. We can always get back into bed later.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu teasingly runs a hand down his chest. "Plus I need to clean the sanctuary from the fight earlier. Before I forget here is a gem that was dropped." She hands him the blue gem.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak takes the gem and examines it briefly, then sets it on the nightstand. Well, let's get started.

Tehanu chuckles, "Quick to say get up, but not so quick to do it?" She gets out of bed and slowly dresses.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak gets up and gets dressed as well, then goes out into the sanctuary to pray.

Tehanu follows him out and kneels next to him.

[Kyrian]

Kal watches the two from his seat, and readjusts the welding goggles concealing his eyes.

Tehanu stands and starts to clean the sanctuary

Lyrak gets up and turns to help her. He sees Kal. Hello. May I help you?

[Kyrian]

"As I told...um...whoever she is, name's Kal. Looking for a good place to worship the dark."

He once again shifts the goggles.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak sighs. This is a temple to all of Iames's aspects.

Tehanu cleans everything up and sets everything back where it belongs.

[Kyrian]

"Could you please explain that?"

[Lord Iames Osari]

Iames has three aspects, each one a different facet of his personality. The Light is his kindness and compassion, the Grey his honor and discipline, and the Dark his cruelty and malice.

[Kyrian]

"Hmm..so this is a different type of dark than I'm thinking of..."

[The Black Prince]

Matthew walks in and seeing Lyrak whose name he doesn't know he sits down in a pew waiting and ignoring Ahra.

[Lord Iames Osari]

It is? What kind of dark were you thinking of?

[wxdruid]

Tehanu finishes and comes over to stand beside Lyrak. She slips one arm around his waist. She glances over at Matt and briefly smiles before she turns back to Lyrak.

[Kyrian]

Kal looks up at Lyrak, though it may be hard to tell with the goggles concealing his eyes.

"I was referring to darkness mostly, though this Dark seems interesting enough..."

[The Black Prince]

Matt seems better that Ahra doesn't seem to find his earlier actions appalling.

[Lord Iames Osari]

If you seek to worship darkness in general, I cannot help you.

[Kyrian]

"No, I think this "Dark" will do just fine. Is there anything more you can tell me about him?"

Tehanu smirks

Matt subconsciously becomes a little more jumpy as he waits for Lyrak.

[Lord Iames Osari]

I do not follow that aspect myself, so there is only very little I can tell you. Nor do I know of anyone who does. At any rate, the Dark is sadistic, capricious, and evil. His defining emotion is hatred. Other than that, I do not know.

[Kyrian]

"What about her?"

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak looks at Tehanu in disbelief. You follow the Dark? I... I thought you had abandoned evil...

Cruelty may sometimes be satisfying, but it is never warranted. Lyrak does not return the kiss, but he does not pull away from her either.

Kal looks at Tehanu. "So is there anything else you could tell me about this "Dark"?"

"My suggestion is to pray to him, with the proper mindset."

[Kyrian]

"The proper mindset being one of anger or rage, I assume?"

Lyrak looks away, his face angry and a little bit sad.

Seeing that Lyrak is almost done Matt stands up and moves into the aisle

"Yes" and keeps her arm around Lyrak

"Thank you miss." Kal turns back to Lyrak. "One more question, you said the "Grey" dealt with honor and discipline, what mindset would I need to contact that one?"

One focused and in control.

Kal nods. "Thank you....well, whoever you two are."

He begins to pray again, focused and in control, though there is a hint of a hidden anger in him.

Matt continues up to Lyrak and says I have heard well about your deity and have been given good hospitality here. Seeing as I am without a deity I was wondering who and what your deity Iames stands for.

Tehanu turns to look at Matt, "Iames is what Lyrak here has already stated to Kal. There is Iames the Light, the Grey and the Dark."

Lyrak closes the door from the study to the sanctuary and sits down in one of the armchairs with a heavy sigh. He pinches the bridge of his nose, trying to decide where to begin.

Tehanu, I... This has come as a big shock to me. I thought that, between you having been redeemed and our becoming lovers, that you had left the ways of evil behind.

"Mostly I have, but when people/idiots hurt you, I simply desire to hurt them and kill them. I have tried to do as you have asked, I haven't flirted with anyone else, I haven't.." her face hardens.."killed anyone that didn't need killing."

I know... but, now I find myself having doubts about the future. Evil is insidious; it may reclaim you without your realizing it. He shakes his head. Tomorrow, I think you should prepare healing spells and help Photos and me tend to the NPCs.

Tehanu stares at him for a moment and then looks down at her hands as she contemplates the clash between her necromancy magic and healing. She leans against his legs, keeping her face down.

Tehanu? What's wrong?

She looks up, "Lyrak, I...I've never had healing spells. I've always left that part to you. My specialty lies with controlling undead, commanding them. I've only ever asked for inflict from Iames and the ability to rebuke undead."

I suspected that was the case. But just because you find it easiest to channel negative energy does not make you incapable of channeling positive energy. Please try, at least. What is there to lose?

"For you, Lover, for you, I will anything you ask so I don't have to see that look of sorrow on your face." Tehanu tries to put her arms around his waist.

Lyrak smiles softly. Thank you. He lets her embrace him, and he puts his arms around her shoulders. All I ask is that you do your best.

Lyrak pulls her up into his lap and kisses her. And I appreciate it enormously.

Tehanu kisses him back, as she slides her hands under his shirt.

Lyrak starts to ease her dress off her shoulders, and the curtain falls around them.

"New here, and searching for a deity to worship. You seemed best choice."

"Well, I heard that this "Grey" was one of honor and discipline, which are a couple of my good qualities."

"Um...is it possible to become a warrior of Iames?"

I have never really considered it, to tell the truth... My interests are not ones that ordinarily require warriors. But, I suppose there is a need for guardians. What variety of warrior?
