What are your skills in combat?

[Kyrian]

"Speed and strength, mostly. Followed by the ability to withstand heavy hits and not drop. Stealth is also a good skill of mine, though it works best in darkness."

[Lord Iames Osari]

Very well. You shall be the first... Templar of Iames. That will do as a name until I can come up with something better. You are charged with the defense of this temple.

[Kyrian]

Kal nods.

"Thank you, Iames."

[Lord Iames Osari]

You are welcome, Kal. He can feel the contact cut off.

[Kyrian]

Kal gets up and moves his goggles up for a moment, revealing silvery-white eyes. He looks around before setting the goggles back.

After a while, he leaves.

[hr]
He returns and hides himself in shadows.

((That sounds cool. Too cool))

[Kyrian]

Kal leaves the shadows, and after making sure his goggles are adjusted correctly, leaves the temple.

Tehanu wakes up and pulls Lyrak over for a kiss before she gets out of bed. She gets dressed and goes out to Pray. She asks for healing spells.

[Kyrian]

Kal enters the temple and watches Tehanu pray.

[wxdruid]

Finally Tehanu finishes praying, she looks at her hands and sighs. She gets up and notices Kal, "May I help you?"

[Kyrian]

"Just here doing my job."

[wxdruid]

"Your job?"

[Kyrian]

Kal nods. "I protect this temple now."

[wxdruid]

Tehanu lifts one eyebrow, "Protect......well it's usually pretty quiet, unless I make Lyrak scream."

[Kyrian]

"It's what Iames has given me as my task. And I will follow it...miss..?"

Kal adjusts his goggles.

[wxdruid]

"My name is Arha. If you see a hawk around here, don't bother her."

[Kyrian]

Kal politely bows, then removes his goggles. He keeps his eyes closed and but keeps facing Tehanu's direction. "I'll make note of that."

[wxdruid]

"Thank you, if you will excuse me?"

[Kyrian]

Kal's player gives a sigh. Kal nods. "Of course."

[wxdruid]

Tehanu walks off into the private area to eat some breakfast and wait for Lyrak to wake up.........

[Kyrian]

Kal puts his goggles back over his eyes and hides in the shadows.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak wakes up and goes to start praying.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu follows him out and after he kneels she kneels behind him and puts her arms around him, laying her head on his back.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak smiles and touches her arm for a moment, but does not stop praying.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu stays still, letting him pray while she feels the comfort of his presence.

For the love of Iames I need help now! Zombies at the Slums.A lot of them. Matts voice echoes off the walls of heads.

[Kyrian]

Kal looks up from shadows. "That idiot again..."

[Lord Iames Osari]

Tehanu feels a strong urge to go to his aid.

[The Black Prince]

((Not nice Kyrian))

"Lover....are you almost done? Iames is urging me to go help Matt. I would much rather go with you."

[Lord Iames Osari]

I'm afraid not. You go on ahead; I'll catch up as soon as I can.

[Kyrian]

Kal stalks through the shadows and out the door.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu sighs, "Yes, Lover, I love you." She gets up and leaves the Temple

[wxdruid]

Tehanu reappears outside the Temple and walks back in. She finds Lyrak still in the same spot and kneels behind him again, putting her arms around him.

[Kyrian]

Kal stumbles back into the temple, chest still bleeding.

Photos goes over to Kal and casts cure serious wounds on him.

[Kyrian]

Kal quickly shoves the light archon away with a growl as soon as he is healed.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak finishes praying and turns his head to kiss Tehanu.

What was that for? I was only trying to help!

[Kyrian]

"I thank you for the help, you just don't understand. I don't like the light."

[wxdruid]

Tehanu kisses him back.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak pulls away after a moment. Can I get up now?

[Kyrian]

Kal sighs and pulls off the goggles. He has to squint mostly at Photos, but it is still able to see his silvery-white eyes.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu smiles, "Of course, Lover." She stands up and holds out a hand to help him up.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak accepts her hand and gets up.

[Kyrian]

Kal sighs and leaves the two to ignore him as they already are.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu slides her arm around his waist, "Well, now that I'm out of the healing spells you had me request, what now?"

Matthew comes in through the portal and goes up to the altar to pray for an hour.

[Lord Iames Osari]

I don't know. How did it feel, helping people?

[The Black Prince]

When finished with his prayers Matt thanks Iames and returns to the station.

[wxdruid]

"I don't know, it was odd."

[Lord Iames Osari]

Okay. We'll work on that.

[wxdruid]

"If you say so, Lover. I think I'll go get cleaned up and some of the NPC's from the battle may come to you for healing."

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak nods. Very well.

Sure enough, the first of many NPCs enters the building. Lyrak and Photos begin their work.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu walks into the back and into the bathing area.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak and Photos finish with the NPCs, and Lyrak goes to see if Tehanu is finished with her bath.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu meets him halfway, dressed in her robe.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Done for the day, he tells her, taking her in his arms.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu smiles, "Good, time for you to pay attention to me."

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak smiles back. But of course. How would you like me to pay attention to you?

[wxdruid]

"Every way possible"

[Lord Iames Osari]

Right. Do you have a preference as to which way we start with?

[wxdruid]

Tehanu shrugs the robe down to expose her shoulders and a smooth expanse of bosom, "Whatever you wish, My Lord."

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak kisses her passionately.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu kisses him back as she run her hands up his back.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak connects to her mind and sends his love through it, along with a question: Where?

[wxdruid]

Tehanu lets several choices run through her mind for him to choose from, the study, the kitchen, the bedroom....all with the two of them in the scene.....

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak bites his lip with the difficulty of choosing. Finally he steps away and pulls her toward the kitchen.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu smiles wickedly as he leads her towards the kitchen.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Once the get into the kitchen, Lyrak pulls her into another deep kiss, his hands slowly undoing the knot of her sash.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu kisses him back and when he's finished with the knot, she shrugs her robe further down for him.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak takes the sash and begins tying her wrists behind her back. The curtain falls.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu wakes up and snuggles up against Lyrak. She smiles and lovingly pulls his arms tightly around her, unwilling to get up yet.

[Kyrian]

Kal shifts in the shadows, goggles covering his eyes yet again.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak holds her close, enjoying the warmth of her body and the scent of her hair.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu whispers, "Lover?"

[Lord Iames Osari]

Aerin comes through the portal and looks around.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Mmhmmm? Lyrak responds.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi comes through after Aerin and waits for her to lead.

[wxdruid]

"Ready to get up yet?"

[Lord Iames Osari]

Aerin leads Vera outside.

[Lord Iames Osari]

That depends on how you mean that question, beautiful.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu smiles, "I love you". She trails her fingernails along his arms.

[Lord Iames Osari]

I love you too.

[wxdruid]

"So I guess....the version of up that doesn't require getting out of bed?"

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak doesn't respond in words; he connects their pleasure centers and lets his hands wander.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu sighs with pleasure as she pulls the blankets further up.

[Lord Iames Osari]

The curtain falls around them.

[Kyrian]

Kal looks out from his spot in the shadows, and runs out the door.

[Kyrian]

Kal enters the temple and takes a seat in the front pew.

He later gets up and leaves the temple.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak gets up, dresses, and goes to pray.

Tehanu follows his example and gets up, dressed and kneels beside him to pray. She requests healing spells for the day.

Aerin comes inside and waits for Vera.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi coems in after Aerin and looks around curiously. How much connection does Iames have with this place?

[Lord Iames Osari]

I'm not sure. Why?

[AmberVael]

It just seems odd to me that he has a temple, even though he is a god.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu turns and stands, "May I help either of you?"

[Lord Iames Osari]

Aerin nods. I know what you mean. Of course, it wasn't his idea to start it. She moves toward the portal. We're just going home through the portal, she tells Arha.

[Kyrian]

Kal limps back into the temple.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi looks at the people in the temple and edges towards the portal rather uneasily.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu nods and turns her eyes towards Kal, "Yes?"

[Lord Iames Osari]

Aerin continues to the portal and goes through it.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi follows Aerin quickly.

[Kyrian]

Kal looks up at Tehanu. "Hm?"

[wxdruid]

Tehanu puts one hand on Lyrak's shoulder, "Did you need anything?"

[Kyrian]

"Besides a drink? Not likely. Just met some...old acquaintances in the streets."

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak finishes praying and stands up. Tehanu, I don't feel well, I think I'm going to go back to bed.

[wxdruid]

to Kal "Okay"

Tehanu looks at Lyrak with concern, she puts one hand on his cheek, "I love you. Do you need me to do anything?"

[Lord Iames Osari]

Just make sure things run smoothly. Photos knows the routine. He pats her hand. I'll be fine.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu sighs, "Yes, my Lord."

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak goes back to the bedroom, undresses, and gets back into bed. He soon is asleep.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu watches him go. She sighs again and calls Photos over and together they help the various NPC's that come to the Temple. Tehanu does her best to be kind to them but probably comes across as indifferent. Several ask about Lyrak and she tells them all the same thing, "He isn't feeling good today." They wish him good health as they go on their way.

[Kyrian]

Kal wanders the temple, adjusting the goggles covering his eyes often, and often looking out onto the streets.

Tehanu finishes for the day and goes in the bedroom. She slips under the covers and tries to not wake up Lyrak.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak doesn't wake up, but he does shift in his sleep to be closer to her.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu smiles and very gently snuggles up to him. She slowly slides her arms around him as she buries her face in his hair and smells his unique scent. She drifts off to sleep.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak wakes up and snuggles closer to her.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu draws his arms tighter around herself. "Lover?"

[Lord Iames Osari]

Mmhm? Lyrak responds.

[wxdruid]

"How are you feeling?"

[Lord Iames Osari]

Better. He smiles at her. The sleep obviously did me good.

[Kyrian]

Kal leaves the temple, not that anyone pays attention.

[wxdruid]

"Good, I was worried"

[Lord Iames Osari]

I'm sorry I worried you.

[Kyrian]

Three men enter the temple.

You're sure this is where he's been?

I can sense Furyan all over this place.

How do you know he's not here now?

[wxdruid]

Tehanu turns around to face him, she puts her hands on his cheeks, "I love you and I was worried but you don't need to be sorry about it. You weren't feeling well."

[Lord Iames Osari]

Okay. I'll keep that in mind.

[wxdruid]

She smiles and lightly kisses him, "Ready to go pray?"

[Kyrian]

HEY, WHO'S IN CHARGE OF THIS DUMP?

The apparent leader turns and looks at the other two.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Photos floats over. Priest Lyrak is the head of this temple, but I believe he's feeling ill. What do you need?

[Kyrian]

To speak to someone about a recent visitor of this building.

[Lord Iames Osari]

I may be able to assist you. Could you describe the person you're looking for?
[hr]
Lyrak shakes his head. No, I'd rather just stay in bed today.

[wxdruid]

"Okay Lover, would you like me to get you something to eat?"

[Kyrian]

Brown hair, wears some goofy looking goggles?

[Lord Iames Osari]

Him? He recently became a guardian of this temple. What o you want with him?
[hr]
Lyrak shakes his head slightly. I'm not hungry at the moment.

[wxdruid]

"Is there anything you want me to get for you?"

[Kyrian]

The usual. Him dead.

The man reaches out and sends a large amount of unholy energy at Photos.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Photos dodges and sends a ray of light at the man. Why do you want him dead?
[hr]
No, I'm fine.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu snuggles up against him.

[Kyrian]

The man withers and growls, sending even more unholy energy at Photos as the other two begin to toss pews around.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu frowns at the sounds coming from the sanctuary, "I think we have uninvited guests."

[Lord Iames Osari]

Photos backs away from the unholy energy and continues to send rays of light at the men. You haven't answered my question. Why do you want him dead?
[hr]
Lyrak sighs. Go see if you can deal with them; if not, come get me and I'll help.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu kisses him and gets out of bed, dresses and walks out to the sanctuary. She spots the men and casts Wrack at one of them.

[Kyrian]

One of the men falls over. The leader throws several daggers at Tehanu. The other cries out at Photos' attack and throws a pew at the archon. The doors burst open and Kal comes in, dagger drawn. He shuts the door and chains it closed.

"Sorry I'm late..." He draws his dagger.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Photos is caught by the thrown pew and flies backwards. He floats back up, wobbling slightly, and sends another ray of light at the man who threw the pew.

Tehanu nods at Kal and two of the daggers hit her.(one hits her shoulder, the other her side) She glares at the man that threw them and casts Burning Blood at him.

[Kyrian]

The leader growls at Tehanu, and casts an antimagic shield around him. Photos hits his attacker dead on, and the man falls over, throwing a single dagger at the archon. The third man gets up slowly and throws two more daggers at Tehanu.

Kal growls as he sees Tehanu get hit. Darkness seeps from his body and slowly begins to spread throughout the room.

Tehanu lunges for the closest one, both daggers miss her as she moves, if she touches him she uses her supernatural ability to try and Awaken his Blood (10d10 and his blood tries to escape his body).

[Lord Iames Osari]

Photos tries to dodge the dagger, but he can't make it entirely. The blade misses his center, but it's a solid hit, and Photos falls slowly to the ground and starts to fade.

[Kyrian]

The man Tehanu reaches is the one that threw the daggers at her. He kicks at her as he takes the pain from her attack and some blood leaves him. Also, soon after she touches him, He "ghosts" over behind her. That is to say, he teleports behind her, but you can actually see him in a sort of slow motion vanish from one spot and fly through the air as he appears in the other.

The man that attacked Photos runs and swings a fist at Tehanu's face.

The leader seems ready to attack again, but Kal reaches him first. Darkness continues to spread out from Kal and he pulls the leader into the darkness. Sounds of struggle are heard from within the darkness.

He kicks her feet out from under her and she falls heavily. She whips a dagger of life stealing out and tries to plunge it into the man attacking her.

[Kyrian]

She hits the man dead on in the heart. He disintegrates and an omniscient voice echoes in the room. LIFE STOLEN.

The man behind Tehanu falls over blind and in pain, due to having forgotten his symptoms earlier.

The sound of metal hitting metal can be heard in the large cloud of darkness surrounding Kal and the leader.

Tehanu turns to the one behind her and tries to drain his STR down to one

[Kyrian]

Nothing stops her. He's too blind to see it coming.

More fighting is heard from the darkness.

[wxdruid]

As he collapses to the ground, Tehanu sits down heavily and pulls out the dagger in her shoulder first. She looks at the one in her side and decides that Lyrak needs to do that one. She slowly gets up and goes around the darkness and into the back to the bedroom. She goes in and kneels next to the bed, "Lover? Could you help me please."

[Kyrian]

The darkness slowly fades. Kal stands there, holding the leader close, his dagger in the man's heart. With a growl, Kal kicks the man back. He looks around with his uncovered silvery-white eyes and collapses.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak sits up and looks at the injury. It's a good thing I still have my spells from yesterday. He puts his hands on her side, framing the dagger. You pull it out, and I'll heal it right when you do.

[Kyrian]

Kal lays there as blood seeps through his shirt, and begins to pool.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu quickly pulls it out.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak heals her.

[Kyrian]

Kal lays there.

[wxdruid]

"Thank you Lover, can you come with me and check the other men out there. I disabled one for questioning, killed one and Kal was still fighting with another one."

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak nods and gets out of bed, quickly pulling on a robe..

[wxdruid]

Tehanu licks the dagger once before putting it on the nightstand. Then turns to go back out into the Sanctuary. She gives the strenthless guy a kick and turns to look at Kal. "Lover? I think Kal needs some healing."

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak follows her out and gives Kal a cure critical wounds.

Tehanu finds some rope and ties up the other man, she drags him off to a corner.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak moves Kal to one of the undisturbed pews and covers his eyes, then goes over to Photos and heals him.

[wxdruid]

She comes back over to him, "Will Photos be all right?"

[Lord Iames Osari]

Yes, he will. On the other hand, I think we should get rid of these pews. They just keep getting destroyed or used as improvised weapons.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu puts her hands on her hips and looks around, "True". She holds back a few choice words.

[Lord Iames Osari]

He looks up at her. What's wrong?

[wxdruid]

"I want mr strengthless guy back there to wake up so I can question him...."

[Lord Iames Osari]

Oh. I don't think I can help with that.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu walks quickly over to Lyrak and whispers to him, "I will try and control myself, I will" as she takes his hands in hers.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak hesitates, then kisses her. I believe in you.

[wxdruid]

She kisses him back and pulls him in for a hug.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak hugs her back.

[wxdruid]

"Shall we get stuff put back in place before I go clean up?"

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak nods.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu starts righting the pews and putting things back in place.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak does likewise.

[wxdruid]

Everything ends up back in place, "We'll figure out a plan for the pews tonight or tomorrow. I feel a strong urge to get cleaned up. Do you feel up to joining me?"

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak smiles. I think I could manage a little... I'd have to go right to bed afterwards, though.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu smiles, "I'll do my best not to wear you out. I want you to get better not worse." She walks to the back and goes into the bathroom.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak follows her and pulls the door closed behind him.

[Kyrian]

Kal wakes up and looks around. "They're coming..."

[The Black Prince]

Matt comes in to pray not worrying about the pews he just walks up to the altar and prays.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu wakes up and pulls Lyrak close, she kisses him before she goes back to sleep.

[Kyrian]

Kal wakes up again. He finds the man in the corner struggling to be released from his ropes, and walks over to him. Kal punches him dead on in the face and walks out of the temple.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu wakes up again, she kisses Lyrak before she slips out of bed. She gets dressed and goes in the kitchen to get something to eat. She carries it out and sits in front of the prisoner. She watches him while she eats.

[Kyrian]

She'd likely notice the new, now dried, trail of blood from his nose, and that he has a new black eye. He groans and shifts slightly.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu snickers and continues to eat her breakfast.

[Kyrian]

He opens his eyes and looks around.

[wxdruid]

"Enjoying your stay? I would offer some breakfast but I'm afraid I've eaten it all." She sets aside her plate.

[Kyrian]

What....what do you want?

[wxdruid]

Arha smirks, "I want many things, a few of which I won't get because my Lover is tenderhearted and doesn't like me to torture other men...."

[Kyrian]

What do you want from me, you wench?!

[wxdruid]

Tehanu prods him with a foot, trying to drain a bit of strength, "hm, mostly information."

[Kyrian]

He growls at her. I'll tell you nothing, wench!

[wxdruid]

Tehanu chuckles, "Oh you will, whether or not you want to. The more you fight, the more I enjoy it." She prods him again with her foot, trying to drain some of his strength.

[Kyrian]

He starts to collapse, losing his strength at the same time he tries to fight against his restraints.

[wxdruid]

She only takes enough to remove some of his fight. She purrs, "Sometimes it can take days, even weeks."

[Kyrian]

His eyes dart around wildly. There's a very very faint trace of lust in them.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu sits back, watching him, "I know exactly how to break a man."

[Kyrian]

You really think you can break me?

[wxdruid]

"Oh, I will derive many pleasurable moments from you. I so enjoy the sight and taste of blood." Tehanu smiles a very cruel/seductive/wicked smile at him.

She considers how much she will need to do to get what she wants out of him, but the only thing he sees is her desire to taste his blood.

[Kyrian]

He struggles a bit, though is really weak from lack of strength.

Kal enters with Exodus on his shoulder.

[wxdruid]

"There is no escape, little man."

[Kyrian]

You just wait...the rest will come.

[wxdruid]

"Really? They'll come?"

[Kyrian]

They'll come, and you and everyone else in this pitiful place will be destroyed.

Kal clenches his fists. Exodus gives a screech and flaps her wings, but stays on Kal's shoulder.

[wxdruid]

"Oh, I think I might enjoy that," she looks up thinking and says to herself, "I wonder when...."

[Kyrian]

"Soon." Kal's voice has a darker tone as he watches the man continue to struggle against the ropes. Exodus ruffles her feathers.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu tries to drain him a bit more so he'll stay still and pay attention to her. "Might I know your name? I'd like to know your name so I can scream it out in the middle of the night"

[Kyrian]

Rafe. Rafe Corwyn.

She has Rafe's full attention. Kal starts to walk over and Exodus screeches again.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu smiles, "Rafe Corwyn, I'll keep that in mind as I disect your heart." Her smile is not nice in any way. "I think I'll leave you to contemplate your fate for a while." She leans over and checks the knots before she gets up and walks away, giving Kal a look that says I would like to talk to you later. She goes in the back and into the bedroom to see if Lyrak is awake.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak is in the process of waking up.

She kisses him and buries her face in his hair, her arms go around him.

[Kyrian]

Rafe starts to struggle. Kal nods at Tehanu as she leaves and walks over to Rafe, knocking him out with another punch to the face. He then walks over to the altar and bows his head in prayer. Exodus spreads her wings and flies around the sanctuary.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak puts his arms around her and holds her close.

[wxdruid]

She trembles with suppressed emotions, "Kal says more are coming and the prisoner says they will destroy us. I so want to taste his blood. I want to watch his eyes as I draw the blade across his skin, but I have only threatened him so far."

((and I must leave work, be back after a bit of shopping))

[Lord Iames Osari]

No torture. Threats are fine, but... if we can find out enough from him, I can try to find out more using my powers.
