How would that work...what would the hybrid and animal form look like?

I'm pretty sure the Hybrid form would look something like Hachi from One Piece, with two legs and six arms. Either that, or any combination of arms and legs in pairs that total to 8 limbs.

The animal form would be an octopus, just big since the animal and base forms must be 1 away from each other (though I suppose if the base form is small the octopus could still be tiny).

The hybrid form would be a mind flayer, basically. Except with 8 tentacles. And no psionics.

Edit: Yeah Hachi is good idea. I just thought of mind flayer cause they are an octo-man that already exists in DnD.

While...we are umm...following the rules fully..



Ink Cloud says nothing about only working in water...weird form of total concealment as a free action once per minute

Jet...says nothing about only working in water...200 ft in one...direction

Start a grapple when you make an attack with an arm...so an unarmed class or base creature with a natural attack

Able to change skin colors, +10 escap artist check, Weapon Finesse , swim ability

Honestly, these are pretty fun ideas for the animal form.

And I do want to see a were-frog at one point, just so I can make Frog from Chrono Trigger.

The best you will find is giant toad or posionus toad from Oriental Adventures, which grants you improved grab and swallow whole, that is almost it, they don't have really anything going for them.



I think the best class for the were-octopus is swordsage you think?
