A friend of mine wants to build the Prodigial Explorer for an upcoming 3.0-3.5 game.
He's been thinking about using the Soulbow PrC.
But he's kinda stuck into feats and else.
Ideas?

Maybe a conjuration specialist built to abuse Magic Missile and the option in one of the books, Players Handbook 2 I think that allows you to blink. With a limit on times per day and is for people specialized in Conjuration.

we did this once in the playground... soulbow + horizon walker i belive.

Or you can make the energy bow a "guantlet" , play swifthunter10/horizon walker

Increasing attack speed is a little more potent in 3.x. Getting Haste every time you hit seems a bit over-powered. Maybe consider tossing a life-steal invocation for a Warlock base build. This would also give him the base ranged attack at will like his auto-attack.

"Mystic Shot
ACTIVE: Ezreal fires a bolt of energy in a line that will deal physical damage and apply on-hit effects to the first enemy it hits. If it strikes an enemy unit, all of Ezreal's cooldowns will be reduced by 1 second."

Take the line-form blast invocation as soon as possible in the build, which I think would be a Lesser invocation, though to simulate a cool-down effect I could see forcing a 1d4 round cool-down period before it can be used again and converting it to a Least invocation so that it would be available sooner.

"Essence Flux
ACTIVE: Ezreal fires a wave of energy in a line. Any enemy champions it passes through are dealt magic damage, while any allied champions it travels through have their attack speed increased for 5 seconds."

Think there's an essence invocation that will force a save or be affected as if by a slow spell. Could take a similar essence, or just add to this one to grant one round of Haste or a base movement movement boost for 1 round to allies in the same line.

"Arcane Shift
ACTIVE: Ezreal instantly teleports to a nearby target location and fires a homing arrow at the nearest enemy unit, dealing magic damage to it."

Flee the Scene invocation, with a touch of LaBlanc's illusion effects, but you could ignore that if you want.

"Trueshot Barrage
ACTIVE: Ezreal charges for 1 second to fire a powerful broad energy missile that travels in a line across the whole map, dealing magic damage to each enemy unit it passes through. It will deal 10% less damage for each subsequent target hit, down to a minimum of 30% damage dealt."

Eldritch Spear to get 180ft reach with your eldritch blast, with permission to stack it on top of the line effect while incuring a 2d4 round cooldown period.

I think someone on the Homebrew forums posted a whole bunch of LoL champion class adaptations. Prodigal Explorer was Warlock based. I think your best bet is either introducing the DM to this class or homebrewing another one.
If homebrew is out of question, some psionic classes might be useful to emulate Ezreal's theme, but not the exact abilities. Pathfinder Soulknife miight be a good starting point.

Warlock 3/Wizard(conjurer) 3/ eldritch theurge 10 get unlimited warlock blasting with teleporting via wizard acf. Also later dimension door evocation and real dimension door, as well as 24 hour flight. Not to mention wizard spells gasp. Fiendish resilience as that late game rejuvenation beads you bout just cuz you can. :smallsmile:
