I just had this absurd but possibly awesome inspiration for my next Construct project.

A pair of Gauntlets with the Flying weapon enhancement (MoF) so they count as Animated Object (https://www.google.com/url?q=http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/animatedObject.htm&sa=U&ei=z79HUpacNpPEqQGJkYDQCg&ved=0CAcQFjAA&client=internal-uds-cse&usg=AFQjCNF3PYP83lEtFU-B2qUeo88HTkSE3Q)s, give them the Sizing weapon enhancement (MIC), and Metalline (Un) just a'cuz, then make them Intelligent Magic Items (https://www.google.com/url?q=http://www.d20srd.org/srd/magicItems/intelligentItems.htm&sa=U&ei=-b9HUtm-B4qdrAHh2IGgDw&ved=0CAcQFjAA&client=internal-uds-cse&usg=AFQjCNGwnGDyvI2J3jNvHZaMu0z7qBfFuA).
Now they're intelligent enough for feats.

Each Gauntlet takes Item Familiar (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/magic/itemFamiliars.htm), Ancestral Relic (BoED), Least Legacy (WoL), and Truebond (DMG2) for the other Gauntlet.

Now they're the ultimate helping hands. In combat one of them wields the other by shaking-hands or playing-mercy or thumb-wrestling. That visual alone makes this almost worth putting together.

Even better is if their creator is a Bigby's Hand specialist.

For the Sizing weapon enhancement is there a limit to how different the sizes can be?
Meaning am I better served starting with colossal gauntlets or with medium ones? Well, the gauntlets would be for a colossal creature so they'd be 2 sizes smaller; so huge gauntlets.

I suppose for giving it feats I'm better served with huge gauntlets as huge Animated Objects have more HD.

Beyond that I am allowed to use the Feats in Items sidebar from Arms and Equipment Guide for the character who'd be building these. 10,000gp plus 5,000gp per prerequisite.
