I've been thinking of hosting a 3.5 1v1 PvP tournament for my college's gaming club, and I want to get rid of any complete game-breakers. The tournament would be Level 6, with standard WBL. I'm thinking of basing the ban list off of the play by post arena's ban list, found here (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=155574). Are there any things up to level six that would need to be added to that list for a relatively balanced PvP environment?

If you want a comprehensive ban list, check the Test of Spite (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=150821), for the banlist and tier system. It's basically a comprehensive stress-test of the entire D&D 3.5 system up to 13th level done by some of the best optimizers in the playground, combined with a way to deal with the inherently unbalanced options available, to prevent people from facing the Cube with, for example, a non-caster. It's an invaluable resource to anyone trying to use a tournament setting.

Seconding the Test of Spite's ban list. That thing is pretty thorough.

Yeah, the test of spite is the place to go, at least as a start. You might want to actually read the thing through, understand why the things that are banned are banned, and make whatever changes fit your game. However, it's always good to have a starting point, in order to know what has come before you at the very least, and the test of spite ban list is as good a starting point as any.
