Iphone/Droid Apps for DMing

I'm looking to see if anyone's heard of any decent apps out there for the iphone or droid apps for running a game. Ideally, something along the lines of a random name generator for NPCs and a treasure generator. I've found some websites that do this, but my problem is always trusting that a website that won't get shut down. I'm also wondering if this is even in the right section of the forum.

i know of a few on the Android market, there is a pathfinder NPC generator as well as a reforance material app. for D&D there are a few good spell book apps, dice rollers, things like that. i cant remember them by name but a simple search for "pathfinder" or "D&D" should bring up plenty.

I've never actually played pathfinder so I have to ask, how similar is the system to 3.5?

about that same as 3.0 is to 3.5. the rules are pretty much the same, all they did was change a few names and a couple class features.
