So the requirements for hexer(prc) are pretty easy for an archivist, but I do have a question on the other matters for the class.

For what you gain from Archivist going deep into it, is it worth it to lose it for Hexer which gives you ?

Full BAB , same HP , lose the knowledge gained, and instead gain a bunch of sight abilities that run from wisdom , full casting.

Alignment: Any nongood
Skills: Knowledge (arcana) 10 ranks , Spellcraft 8 ranks , Wilderness Lore 10 ranks
Race/Type: Monstrous humanoid, giant, goblinoid, or other primitive humanoid, such as orc or gnoll.
Spellcasting: Able to cast lightning bolt as a divine spell.

Most builds go Archivist 11, after that point the class features you would get are usually not worth having if it means missing out on full casting prestige classes.

Most Archivists will want to dip a single level in Sacred Exorcist as early as possible to power Divine feats, namely Divine Metamagic. Since that requires a good alignment, going for Hexer excludes you from being able to do this. You could still dip a level of Cleric to get divine feats, but that delays your spellcasting. Having a good alignment also allows you to use Sanctified spells, such as (Greater) Luminous Armor.

With DMM: Persist you can have Divine Power all day and the BAB that Hexer offers is moot, so you just end up losing your good base Fort save for it. Plus you need to gain Survival (Wilderness Lore in 3.5) as a class skill to qualify, which usually means dipping Ruathar (RotW). The best thing Hexer offers is its Extra Spell class feature, which allows you to learn a Wizard spell of a level you could cast at each even-numbered class level. However, considering what spells an Archivist should normally have access to (http://brilliantgameologists.com/boards/index.php?topic=3545.msg110500#msg110500), plus learning Wizard spells from other characters who used Divine Magician and/or Hexer to turn them into divine spells, you don't even need to take the class to gain this benefit.

Honestly, there are too many mechanics that benefit being good aligned, especially for an Archivist. Plus you would want to wait until after Archivist 11 to take it. If your DM is severely limiting what spells you can learn and you would get a greater benefit from its Extra Spell class feature, and you're not good aligned or you otherwise can't use Divine Metamagic, then it's worth taking earlier.

It is harder for an archivist to get usage out of DMM; Charisma is a dump stat: you need Con, Wis, Int, and Dex leaving Cha and Str by the wayside unless you invest Extra Turning. Which combined with Extend, Persist, and DMM means you invest 4 feats into making a single persisted spell.

Devotion feats are better usages fornan Archivist.

But really you don't need more than 2 levels of Hexer anyway (ECL19). Just use miracle when you get it to Psychic Reform the ability each day, Craft the spell into a Divine scroll, then change it.
