So I'm debating on making a drow noble cohort (for a game using Pathfinder rules, though it isn't actually a game taking place in Golarion). Now, they are an overpowered race, too much to be treated as a standard cohort, so they should be treated as something more akin to a monstrous cohort right?

I'm having trouble figuring out what level a drow noble cohort should actually be though. Is there any decent guide out there for figuring these things out? Any suggestions?
I'm guessing somewhere around 1-3 levels lower than a typical non-monstrous cohort, but I'm not really sure.

I may very well end up going with standard drow, but I want to at least have a noble as an alternate build for this character around, in case as its background gets developed it makes more sense.

There is a series of feats, Drow Nobility, Improved Drow Nobility and Greater Drow Nobility and Noble Spell resistance, which would essentially make a drow the drow noble variant minus the enhanced ability score adjustments.

Yeah I've considered those too since they get more of the flavor without the problematic ability adjustments... not 100% set on it yet though.

Per the Sidebar in the Drow Noble entry: The race was intended to be a CR+1 race. So there you go. Treat as one level higher than another character of a given class and call it a day. You get a 7th level cohort? You get a lvl 6 Drow Noble. Easy.
