I've done a fair bit of searching on this one with little success, so hopefully a more knowledgeable Playgrounder can help me out. My latest character concept is hindered by the need to slap a specific extraordinary special attack onto a Medium-sized character, but the only "copy a monster's tricks" spells I can find apply to supernatural and spell-like abilities. Do any of you know of a spell, feat, item, template, etc. which can do the following:
Bestow upon a Medium-sized character, ideally from a PHB race, a monster's extraordinary special attack. In case it matters, I'm looking for Swallow Whole, but a more generalized method would open the door to many more interesting characters
Have a permanent duration, or at least the ability to be Persisted and recast daily
Operate in her natural form (ie, no polymorph or lycanthropy)
Use only official material, including Dragon Magazine and campaign settings. Homebrew and third-party books are banned at this table.
Not involve a Sarrukh in any way (my head can't withstand another thrown book)
Assume that this character has levels and feats to burn, an arbitrary amount of gold, and access to friendly 20th-level spellcasters.
I recognize that this might be an impossible task, in which case I'll have to track down the nearest Sarrukh and wear a bike helmet to the gaming table. Wonder what that does for my AC...
