Would the Playground like to lay it out for me? Which is better? And why?

Specifically I'm looking at (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=305697) the Price of Spells with xp components in Repeating Magic Traps. I havn't researched the Spell Clock yet.

If it matters I have one in game month before the big battle and money is no object, though no epic items or epic priced stuff.

It's right there in the tables for designing traps (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/traps.htm#designingATrap).

Specifically, for self-repeating magic traps, it's "+ Total of XP components × 500 gp"

My apologies for the miscommunication, I am just looking to discuss the comparison of the two. I know where and how to use the Repeating Magic Traps now, though I was making the same mistakes over and over for a week or so there.
