I recently learned that BioWare now offers all the promotional bonus items that previously were only available for certain pre-orders and such to any DA:O owners for free. However, after unlocking them, I seem to be unable to download them. I've tried deleting the mods I had in place (bug fixes only), downloaded the 1.05 patch, etc. My copy is a hard-copy version of DA:O that I got shortly after its release as well as my copy of Awakening, just for context.
I could install manually, but because I've got Windows 8 on my computer, I can't find daupdater.exe to do so. This is frustrating me to no end. Any suggestions short of reinstalling the darn game or something?
