Paladin variant Monk (Must be Lawful Good)
Paladin Spellcasting progression, aura of good, divine grace, lay on hands, and smite evil. Gains proficiency with the Katana (Bastard Sword) as a two handed weapon. While wielding the Katana (Bastard Sword) as a two handed weapon the Monk may use flurry of blows, may substitute charisma in place of strength on attack and damage roles, has access to the combat expertise and improved combat exertise feats, and applies the swords enhancement bonus as a shield bonus to AC.

Monks adopting this variant lose:
All bonus feats except Improved Unarmed Strike.
Monk weapon proficiencies excluding shuriken.
Ki Strike (Su)
Wholeness of Body (Su)
Quivering Palm (Su)
Tongue of the Sun and Moon (Ex)


Ranger variant Monk (Any except chaotic)
Ranger Spellcasting progression, track and wild empathy. At second level may choose either archery, or two weapon combat style. A two weapon combat style monk only benefits from two weapon combat style while wielding a staff. An archery combat style monk only benefits from archery combat while wielding the longbow. An archery combat style monk gains proficiency with the longbow. May use flurry of blows with their respective weapons. Gains Camouflage and Hide in Plain Sight. Archery combat style monks gain an animal companion at the rate of the druid, two weapon combat style monks gain an animal companion at the rate of the ranger.
Skills: 6x4 at first level, 6 per level every level thereafter. Gains handle animal, ride, and survival. Loses diplomacy, knowledge (Arcana), Perform, and Profession (Any).

Monks adopting this variant lose:
All bonus feats except Improved Unarmed Strike.
Monk weapon proficiencies excluding staff and shurikan.
Still Mind (Ex)
Ki Strike (Su)
Slow Fall (Ex)
Wholeness of Body (Su)
Abundant Step (Su)
Diamond Soul (Ex)
Quivering Palm (Su)
Empty Body (Su)


Fighter variant Monk (May be any alignment)
Fighter Bonus feats at first level and every four levels after that.You may substitute your Monk level and wisdom modifier for fighter level and any other one ability score modifier as prerequisites for any fighter bonus feats (except for Combat Form Feats). Feats who's prerequisites were satisfied by this substitution only apply to unarmed attacks. You gain the dodge feat at first level, and blindfight as a bonus feat as sixth level. You need not meet the prequisites for these feats. At first level, fourth level, and every four levels thereafter you gain a bonus Combat Form feat. You must meet the prequisites for these feats. Monks using this variant may wear a shuriken on a cord or chain as an amulet. The monk's natural weapons benefit from any enhancement on the shuriken that could also be applied to a melee weapon. The monk's natural weapons must meet the prerequisite of any enhancement. This amulet works only for that specific monk, and only so long as the monk has never taken a level in any class other than monk. The monk may only have one of these amulets at a given time.
