Why? Well, for a few reasons, which I cover in my prologue post right, which can be found as soon as you finish this sentence.

Tada (http://steamrollers-solve-all.dreamwidth.org/344.html)

Unfortunately, while undergoing a Herculean effort to scrub the Engrish-y script as translated by Ikusagami, I accidentally mis-clicked and lost everything I had for the first mission, which I intended to post along with this.

I still wanted to go ahead and post this though because, as previously mentioned, though SRW A's script has been transcribed and put on Gamefaqs, it is extremely Engrishy. Just to prove it to you, I'm going to pluck a random string of dialogue out of it right now and paste it here for you all to see.

"Amuro: Personally, I'd like to trust you... But there's this annoying stuff
called army.
Noin: Lt Amuro, you bother me saying so."

That's Amuro talking to Axel when they've first met and nobody knows who Axel is or who he works for, and then Noin being annoyed at him for his choice of words. Some of it can be lulzy, but it also might make the plot incomprehensible and messes up some names (like calling Meioh Plato from Dragonar "Malliot")... although it would mean I can post updates more quickly.

At any rate, I'm leaving this up to a vote. When I feel enough people've voted for me to make an informed decision I'll decide one way or another. Until then, when I post updates (which I'll try to do at least one on my days off from work) I'll be trying to edit the mid-mission dialogue as best I can and give the cliff notes version of cutscenes in between missions.

Today in Super Robot Wars Advance:

We actually get started! (http://steamrollers-solve-all.dreamwidth.org/751.html)

Also, I regret and completely backpedal on transcribing as much of the script as possible!

Today in Super Robot Wars Advance:

We count just how many Gundam tropes Dragonar uses! (http://steamrollers-solve-all.dreamwidth.org/875.html)

Seriously, at this point I think there's two drinking games SRW A has to offer us: how screwy its UC timeline is, and how similar Dragonar's plot will feel to any Gundam fans.

People familiar with the show know why, but for the uninitiated, Metal Armor Dragonar came on in 1987 as a sort of newbie show to draw in more fans of the genre and possibly become the next big Real Robot franchise since ZZ and CCA wrapped up all the big plot threads left in UC Gundam. That didn't happen, but it didn't flop by any measure and it's been in SRW A (its debut), MX (where it was the main Real canon since all the Gundams were post-finale), and GC/XO.

I know it at least has HK subs floating around for anyone interested in watching it.
