View Full Version : [PF] Help making mythic choices for a level 4 ranger

Hey guys,
so recently our party of two accidentally teleported ourselves to an alternate plane where we were approached by some floating diamond thing of almighty power ("the leviathan") and now we're taking on the mythic rules.
I've read through the rules and I think its pretty cool, the trouble I'm having is I don't really know what to pick for feats and abilities etc.
Looking for some advice!

I'm a ranger who mainly uses his bow and keeps his distance but often finds himself up close and personal using his scythe. Maxed ranks in stealth, disable device, ride, craft (armour), handle animal. In the end looking to go into the Mammoth Rider PrC and basically shoot arrows from the back of my rhino while he charges around.
Side note: Level 5 feat is a story feat which greatly advances my crafting skill, and the woolly rhino is a custom animal familiar all approved by DM.

I was thinking something like:

The Champion path is generally better, from what I've seen. You're sure you want to go Guardian?

The Champion path has a couple of abilities that I like, but generally I prefer the defensive and healing capabilities of the guardian. For my current character I think a boost in defense will be very handy. But there are a few things in the champion list that I like, hence the dual path feat.

Other abilities I like the look of are Impossible Speed and Mythic Craft.
