[PF] Life Oracle Mass Heal at 16?

So the Life Oracle (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/oracle/mysteries/paizo---oracle-mysteries/life) apparently learns the spell Mass Heal at level 16, when he can only cast level 8 spells. Does that mean Mass Heal is a level 8 spell for the Life oracle?

No, I think they just give you a spell you can't cast at the time.......weird.

They also get neutralize poison at third spell level when it is a fourth level spell. I THINK that they're supposed to get them at the spell level indicated, sort of like domain spells can be of a lower spell level than on the main cleric list.

I mean, they're supposed to be *better* at healing and stuff right? So it makes sense?

Is there other examples of Oracles getting domain spells earlier? It might help set a precedent.

Yes, oracles can cast the spell at the level they get it. So for life Oracles, mass heal is an 8th level spell. The same is true for sorcerers and their bloodline spells.

there's specific errata that says that when you get the spell, it's THAT level. The Life Domain actually has two of these: Neutralize Poison and Mass Heal
They're SUPPOSED to be ungodly healers, so they get them at 6 and 16 instead of 8 and 18, as 3rd and 8th level spells.
