Temple of Kyrian

[Fenhai]

Welcome to Fenhai's home. Also used as the temple of Kyrian. Inside the wide foyer there is an altar. Taped to the wall behind the altar is a crude drawing of Kyrian.

Fenhai - High Priest of Kyrian (Ok, so he's really the only known priest at this moment)

[Kyrian]

Kyrian enters and looks around.

For crying out loud....Iames!

[Lord Iames Osari]

Iames appears. Hm?

[Kyrian]

Kyrian gestures all around at the makeshift temple.

You went through all this....how??

[Fenhai]

Fenhai wanders into the temple and grins to see his Holiness.

Greetings, my Lord.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Mostly by trying not to think about it, and also by spending as little time as possible in the Temple.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian sighs. I guess that'd work. Sorry to disturb you, Iames.

[wxdruid]

Rain jumps inside and immediately goes over to Kyrian, arching her back and brushing her body against his legs.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian smiles and pets Rain. Aramir runs in and sits next to Kyrian.

Hey you...was wondering how long it'd be for you two to come.

[Lord Iames Osari]

S'okay. Hopefully your cleric will turn out as well as Lyrak has, Iames adds telepathically, then disappears.

[Fenhai]

Fenhai rushes over to Kyrian and the cats.

You must be Aramir!

[wxdruid]

Rain looks up at Kyrian with an unreadable expression and lightly bats at his leg.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian laughs and scratches behind Rain's ears. Aramir looks between Fenhai and Kyrian.

Kyrian....what does it want?

Probably to know everything about me. Rain, you hungry?

[wxdruid]

Of course.

[Kyrian]

Well, what say you we go to Trog's, and I get you some food?

Aramir watches Fenhai carefully.

[wxdruid]

Sounds good to me. as she entangles herself in his legs.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian laughs as he almost falls over.

Fenhai...good luck with this place.

[Fenhai]

Fenhai nods and runs off to do priestly things.

[wxdruid]

Rain innocently smiles up at Kyrian.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian pets Rain and heads for the door. Aramir stands next to Rain and twists his tail in hers.

[wxdruid]

Rain licks Aramir's cheek before following Kyrian.

[Kyrian]

Aramir follows Rain.

[Fenhai]

Fenhai comes back out into the sanctuary and helps several NPCs that've stumbled in.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian enters his temple. Thoughts and memories of all the times he's failed the two he'd seen as his brother and sister fill his mind. Tears flow from Kyrian's eyes and he stumbles around. Finally, with a cry, Kyrian takes the nearest pew and pushes it away from him, sending it crashing into the wall.

DAMNIT!

He puts his hands to his head and cries a bit, before he throws another pew aside, destroying Fenhai's makeshift altar. Kyrian falls to his knees in the middle of the sanctuary, and pounds both fists into the floor, making dents. As he continues to kneel there, crying, "How to Save a Life" by The Fray can be heard.

Xemnas enters the makeshift temple and looks around with an evil grin. Fenhai finishes up with a NPC and sends him off, before he heads over to Xemnas.

What brings you to the temple of my lord?

Just looking for him...to finish what we started.

Xemnas summons a glowing red spike and sends it at Fenhai. Being completely suprised, Fenhai can do nothing but scream as he's killed.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian appears just inside the main doors, glaring at Xemnas.

You're seriously picked a bad time to mess with me.

[Dark Saiyans]

Xemnas turns his evil grin to Kyrian.

Ahh..how good to see you again. Bad time? Oh, you mean since your foster family all but abandoned you? And your little fiance can't stand your touch? Is that what you mean? The fact that no one cares about you, or even wants you around?

[Kyrian]

Kyrian gives a low growl as he unsheathes Renegade.

I've had enough with the head games Xemnas, they won't work.

[Dark Saiyans]

Xemnas' grin widens.

Amazing, how much of a fool you are. It's no wonder your parents had all memories of them locked away from you. They were too ashamed of who you are.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian roars as he rushes forward, ready to cut down Xemnas where the Dark Saiyan stands.

You'll pay!

[Dark Saiyans]

Xemnas laughs as he raises a hand. Kyrian is lifted into the air, and stopped. Xemnas begins to walk around Kyrian.

Oh...did I fail to mention that I'm no longer a pitiful mortal? Because, I'm not. Let me just ask you something, after I'm finished with you, should I kill Lillah, Jaspero, or Alarra first? You know what, don't answer that, I'll go for all three at once.

Xemnas sends a huge force of energy at Kyrian , propelling him back out the temple doors.

(awwww...I'm not even on the "threaten to hurt you by killing the ones you love list, anymore. That's what I get for not posting in a week.)

[Fenric]

(( You'd think Xemnas would come get us, too. Oh, well. Maybe I'll have Roxias and Axel attack something again, just for the fun of it.

Does anyone else have any washed-up villans for me to collect? ))

[Kyrian]

Kyrian runs back into the temple, and leaps up into the air, trying to bring Renegade down on Xemnas' head.

[Dark Saiyans]

Xemnas summons another spike which he throws to try and relieve Renegade from Kyrian's grasp. He tumbles to the right and waits for Kyrian to land. He then swings around and tries to take Kyrian's legs out from under him.

[Kyrian]

Renegade is indeed relieved from Kyrian's hands. It is impaled in the ceiling. Kyrian lands and suddenly find himself on the floor, and on his back. He starts to jump back up but stops as he hears a roar and the door slam open.

[Ares]

"KYRIAN!"

Ares runs in, and seeing Kyrian downed, he rushes over and tries to decapitate him.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian looks up and watches Ruination swing down at him.

SON OF A!!

He rolls back and stands, throwing an elbow towards Ares' face.

[Dark Saiyans]

Xemnas laughs as he summons and throws numerous spikes at Kyrian and Ares.

[Ares]

Ares growls at Xemnas and in return is hit by quite a few of the spikes. He staggers back and throws a fireball back at Xemnas, before swinging Ruination at Kyrian's legs.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian watches the spikes and the swing.

Son of a bitch, Son of a bitch, Son of a bitch, Son of a bitch, Son of a bitch...

Timing his moves damn near perfectly, Kyrian sidesteps slightly and jumps. He kicks at Ruination, turning the blade to catch the block the spikes. One grazes up off the sword, and grazes the side of Kyrian's head.

Kyrian growls and rushes Xemnas, meaning to tackle him.

[Dark Saiyans]

Xemnas ducks the fireball, but stands back up as Kyrian tackles him. The both fall to the floor, and Xemnas tries to punch Kyrian in the nose.

[Ares]

Ares growls and jumps up, diving back down and throwing his knees towards the pair.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian, already bleeding badly, is hit in his nose. He's fairly certain he hears a crunch, and more blood flows from him. He barely manages to roll away from Ares, and kicks Xemnas in the stomach.

[Dark Saiyans]

Xemnas oofs as he is hit in the stomach, and blacks out as Ares' knees are driven into his chest.

[Atreyu the Masked LLama]

(throws some pillows around Alarra's place for the inevitable landing)

[Ares]

Ares, not really caring much about Xemnas to begin with, stands and jumps for Kyrian, swinging Ruination downwards.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian rolls back from the swing again, though his pony tail doesn't make it.

You son of a bitch. What the shock is wrong with you!?

His arms become wreathed in fire as he throws both fists at Ares.

[Ares]

Ares grins as both fists hit, but neither one is wreathed in fire anymore.

"What's wrong, kid? You feel that? That would be your powers...draining away..."

Ares laughs and knocks Kyrian to his knees. He swings Ruination, once again trying to decapitate the saiyan.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian is easily knocked to his knees as he feels his immortality disappear.

No...NO!

Kyrian brings his left arm up, and Ruination digs deep into his arm. He roars as he reaches up to where Renegade is stuck in the ceiling. After a moment, the sword shoots back down, and into Kyrian's hand. He quickly thrusts the sword at Ares' heart.

[Ares]

Ares' eyes widen as Renegade pierces his heart. He falls to his knees as Kyrian stands. Ares' eye return to their normal color, and he drops Ruination at his side.

"Take 'em kid...take 'em all....you've....you've...earned them. You know how...

He looks up at Kyrian and nods.

[Dark Saiyans]

Xemnas slowly opens his eyes and grins when he notices Kyrian's mortal.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian sadly nods back at Ares. With a roar, he pulls Renegade out of Ares' heart and spins, swinging the massive sword at Ares' neck.

[Ares]

Ares makes no move to stop Kyrian, and is decapitated. A white light emits from Ares and hits Kyrian.

[Dark Saiyans]

Xemnas jumps up and runs at Kyrian, summoning Ares' blade to his hand.

[Wukei]

(Here we are! Born to be kings! We're the Princes of the Universe!)

[Kyrian]

Kyrian sees Xemnas, and grins as power flows through his blood once again, only this time, it's stronger. All his wounds heal, and Kyrian draws Ebony with his right hand. He slams Ebony and Renegade together and aims the gunblade at Xemnas, pulling the trigger six times.

[McBish]

((There can be only one!))

[Dark Saiyans]

Xemnas Mirror Images himself, dodging all six shots at once. He leaps up and throws Ruination at Kyrian.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian grins as he sees Xemnas make his mistake. Holding onto the gunblade with right hand, Kyrian tosses Ivory up to Ruination. The Colt .45 hits Ruination and they both glow. With his left arm outstretched, Kyrian grasps the second gunblade. He aims them both at Xemnas and takes twenty shots. Each.

[Dark Saiyans]

Xemnas dodges the majority of the bullets, but several hit him in his arms and legs. He drops to the ground and runs at Kyrian, summoning hundreds of red spikes and willing them all to impale his enemy.

[AmberVael]

(( You'd think Xemnas would come get us, too. Oh, well. Maybe I'll have Roxias and Axel attack something again, just for the fun of it.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian enjoys the fun of spinning round and round, cutting and shooting spikes out of the air. He jumps up onto a pew and then dives, gunblades first, at Xemnas.

[Dark Saiyans]

Xemnas sidesteps, and laughs as a gunblade merely pierces his shoulder. It's then he realizes he walked himself into the other gunblade, and it's penetrated straight through his heart.

No...how...but...you...can't...

[Kyrian]

Kyrian's eyes become pitch black again as he glares at Xemnas.

Do me a favor....stay dead this time.

He violently rips both gunblades out of Xemnas.

[Dark Saiyans]

Xemnas falls to his knees, and begins to cough up blood as he slowly disintigrates.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian watches as Xemnas disintegrates, and then collects Ares' head and body. He takes them both out back and summons a stone slab. He lays the head and body down on the slab and notices that Ares has two familiar swords sheathed at his hips. Upon closer inspection, Kyrian realizes that they are the Librarian's. He takes them from Ares' belt and sets them aside. Bowing his head, Kyrian says a silent prayer for the friend he just recently killed. With a small sigh, Kyrian summons a flask of oil, and covers Ares. Finally, he pulls a matchbook out of his jacket and lights a match, tossing it at Ares.

Kyrian stands there silently, watching as his mentor's body is burned. As the last of the flames dies out, Kyrian picks up the librarian's swords and heads back inside. He raises Fenhai, who being smart for once, says nothing that he's actually raised almost twelve hours later. With a sigh, Kyrian leaves.

[Kyrian]

Fenhai runs around trying to tidy and better the sanctuary.

[AmberVael]

Vael steps into the temple, followed by Alchemy, Ayral, the Shadow, and Kirana.
It is as I thought... there is a faded here.
Vael raises his hand and chants a word, while Ayral mimics his actions.
Slowly there is a flickering, faded shadowy shape that begins to appear in the air. After a few moments, it becomes more and more solid, finally solidifying into Xemnas. For a moment Xemnas is confused, but wary, then as he sees the Faded he nods in understanding.
Welcome to the reality that is memory, Faded One.
The Faded, now increased in number, leave.
