Basilisk is looking for some gamers to help play test their RPG. Do you have what it takes?

www.basiliskrpg.com (http://www.basiliskrpg.com)

The current play test packet online is a rough version that has not been
edited and very little theme or flavor has been added.
The theme will be medieval fantasy leaning towards City States.

Basilisk is a rules moderate hybrid D20 game that is a tactical/role play RPG with elements of player narrative authority woven in. Basilisk can be played with a mat or theater-of-the-mind. It is a gritty and lethal, low magic, skill based system.

We are currently play testing for:
1) Game balance and mechanics.
2) How easy is it to create characters and learn the game.

We would like play testers to:
1) Make characters and report back what choices you made and why?
a) How long did it take?
b) Did you run into any trouble?
2) Play the sample module
a) Did players get used to the static initiative system?
b) How did players find using the to-hit chart in combat?
c) How long did each specific combat take in rounds and actual time?
d) What was the mortality rate in each combat?
e) How were the Persuasion skills used?
f) How were Background points used?
g) How were Fate points used?
h) Did Motivations affect game play? How?
i) Did you use the Chase system? Was it easy to use? Were pools used?
j) Did you find any Rules or Skills that were unbalanced? In what way?

Please use the contact page on the website if you are interested.

We really appreciate the feedback,
Basilisk RPG
