Question, mighty wallop works only on melee type bludge weapons, somethings qualify for that *light hammer, hell even club* but they do have a throwing distance listed.

I would like to ask, if folks think if you end up throwing said item, does it make greater mighty wallop null, or would make a light hammer worth it to have returning quality, when you have a thrown item that can do 3d6?

It seems to me that it could be interpreted either way. The wording doesn't prevent you from gaining the damage increase when throwing an affected weapon, but that might have been an oversight on the part of the designer. If you want to do away with the ambiguity, use an effect that allows you to use melee-friendly effects at range, like Bloodstorm Blade's ability.
