True Casting question

Can true casting be persisted?

My first impression is that the duration will last longer than the one round in the description but will still be used up with the first spell I cast that requires a SR check?

Sound right?

It depends on whether you interpret it as being "discharged"-- If it is, then Persist can't be used at all.

But assuming that Persist can be used, then yes, it still only applies to your one next spell, but that spell can be any time in the day as long as you don't cast anything else first.
