So I made an npc Gnomish bard based somewhat off of nwn2 gnome bard whose name I forget.
However he sings.
I don't usually make singing bards for the reason I know people...
if the bard writes a song and the dm makes the annoying bard ask for an audience, someone is going to assume the dm didn't have a song prepared and put him on the spotlight.
My bard has an initial song he sings for the party assuming they are willing to listen, and I will sing it...though I wont have a lute to play with along like the gnome does. The song itself mocks the players recent exploits. (That is bringing demons and chaos to a city they THOUGHT they were just passing through...tsk tsk...silly players, if a demon cult is stalking you do you really think your ever in a peaceful area and "just passing through?" needless to say they are banned from the town.)
I got to wondering if anybody else has done anything like this...
and maybe if you had any good songs to share your bards have made!
