1)Can a Witch have more than one Patron i.e Healing and Shadow for example?

2)It is possible for Witches to learn all the spells in their Spell List?

3)It is possible for Witches to learn every spell in the game? (thus being more broken than say Wizard:smallredface:)

4)Can a Witch create their own spell? or they can only learn ones from their spell lists?

More questions may be posted when if I have difficulty comprehending this class. Thanks to those who answers:smallbiggrin:

1) No (or at least I don't know of a way.)

2) Yes (minus patron spells of course). You can even store every spell you know in one familiar, as opposed to a wizard who eventually needs multiple books.

3) No, the usual tricks for doing that kind of thing aren't in Pathfinder.

4) Any caster can research new spells; all such custom creations are subject to DM approval of course.

However, does this mean that if the Familiar of a Witch dies...the Witch loses xp as normal and the spells that the familiar had?

Would that mean the Witch has to teach the new Familiar all the spells again?

How would that work since the Witch lost all the spells and only carries the ones that are left memorized?

You don't lose XP when your familiar dies in PF.

Think of the witch's familiar as a familiar and spellbook in one. A dead familiar is a destroyed spellbook as far as stored spells go.

"If a familiar is lost or dies, it can be replaced 1 day later through a special ritual that costs 500 gp per witch level. The ritual takes 8 hours to complete. A new familiar begins knowing all of the 0-level spells plus two spells of every level the witch is able to cast. These are in addition to any bonus spells known by the familiar based on the witch’s level and her patron (see patron spells)."

If you have the Scribe Scroll feat, you can still write yourself a set of backup spells for if you loose your familiar, if the need strikes you.

You cannot lose XP in PF by any means. XP is a one-way trip.

Yes you will lose any spells that were stored in the familiar. However, when you get a new/replacement familiar, it will know all cantrips, all your patron spells, and at least two spells of every level the witch can cast. This ensures that you can get back on your feet quickly in a high-level campaign after the worst occurs and earn the livelihood you need to get back on your feet.

In addition, there is an item called a Stone Familiar (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic-items/wondrous-items/wondrous-items/r-z/stone-familiar) that you can use as secondary storage of your familiar spells. Think of it as a backup hard drive in case the primary drive is lost.
