The Town vs Loki and Wukei Trial

Here is where we will start the Town vs Loki and Wukei

a few ground rules

everyone that is required for the trial will be heard (I will determine if your voice needs to be heard)
I will tolerate no disruptions in the courtroom (you will be asked to leave, if you don't I will call the police and they will cart you off in handcuffs)
I am the Judge, I have the final say, I will listen to all arguments, just be patient.

Would a representative from the police force, Loki and Wukei please appear before me.

Loke and Wukei are accused of 5 counts of murder

Aerin enters the room. I will represent the Town.

Thank you Aerin, we're waiting on Wukei and Loki now.

Supagoof walks into the courtroom and takes a seat in the front row.

Oooh this is going to be good! he says with a smirk on his face as he sits.

[Wukei]

Wukei steps in and stands. Not Guilty. She then flops down in her seat.

Loki floats in, having been killed earlier, Man this system is slow...guilty as charged, Sweetheart.

[Renegade Paladin]

Gaheris walked in and sat down in the back, waiting to be called to the stand. His expression was neutral.

Thank you, Wukei your plea of not guilty is entered into the record

Loki, you plead guilty to 5 counts of murder. Aerin do you accept Loki's plea?

Gwen looks at Loki, The evidence is a bit confusing in this case, do you have anything to say before I sentence you?

[Wukei]

He nods. I would like to state that I admit that I had taken over Wukei's mind when the murders were performed.

Gwen nods, So you are taking full responsibility and therefore have plead guilty to all 5 charges of murder.

[Wukei]

He nods. Yes, ma'am.

[wxdruid]

Do you have any remorse for killing those 5 people?

[Wukei]

Loki nods. Yes, I do. But I will not take up your time by trying to explain actions that are inexplainable.

Loki I sentence you to 100 hours in jail.

Aerin do you still wish to continue this trial in light of Loki's confession?

[Renegade Paladin]

"She was at least partially in control; she spoke to me as Wukei," Gaheris murmered under his breath, barely audibly to the normal human ear.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Aerin shakes her head. No, Your Honor.

The case against Wukei is dismissed, Loki is sentenced to 100 hrs of jail time for murdering 5 people.

Loki will you please report to the police station or do you need to be escorted?

[Renegade Paladin]

"She did it, Your Honor," Gaheris stated from his place at the back. "Loki's just taking the fall. We are to believe a god of trickery?"

[Wukei]

He winks. I think I can take myself.

He takes Aerin's hand and kisses it. You truly are an understanding woman.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian enters and watches Gaheris.

Gwen shakes her head and leaves the courtroom.

[Renegade Paladin]

"Spare me the intimidation, Kyrian, you should know by now it doesn't work," he growled. "I know what she said to me."

[Kyrian]

And I know that I'll willingly walk into the cell myself, and turn my weapons in right there to Aerin if you keep pressing this. Wukei's innocent.

[Renegade Paladin]

"She asked me if I was attacking her because she sent me to prison. If Loki was in control, that wouldn't have been said, because Loki didn't prosecute my case. Wukei did." He glowered. "The justice system in this town is a joke and everyone knows it."

[Kyrian]

Kyrian draws Ebony, but keeps the gun at his side.

Aerin, could you possibly arrest this ass for any reasons? This is twice now he's called the way Gwen's run things a joke, and personally, I'd like to shoot him.

[Renegade Paladin]

"You should also know I don't lie, particularly not about things like this. Get out of my face, Zippy." He smoothly walked towards the door.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian stands in front of the doors, and pulls Ebony's hammer back.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Aerin rolls her eyes at Loki, then turns to Kyrian. He is allowed to express his disapproval, since he has not violated any laws, but shooting him would be an act of assault, at the very least. So, no.

[Wukei]

Wukei walks over and places a hand on Kyrian's shoulder. She shakes her head. This isn't the place for this.

Loki whistles and heads for the doors, simply passing through the wall since he's dead.

[Renegade Paladin]

Gaheris cocked an eyebrow. "So. Going to shoot me? If not, what did I just tell you about my face and you getting out of it?"

[Kyrian]

Kyrian drops Ebony's hammer back into place. He leans his face closer to Gaheris'

I'm sorry, I only take orders from my sister.

[wxdruid]

Gwen walks back in, If you all don't leave right now You will be in contempt of court and all of you sharing the same jail cell, now OUT!

[Renegade Paladin]

"Uh huh. Can it, Zippy. I'd hate to see you sent to jail again."

He gave Gwen a meaningful glance, indicating Kyrian preventing him from leaving.

[Wukei]

But they're blocking the door...

[Kyrian]

Oooo...nice comeback...almost hurt...

Kyrian turns to Gwen

My apologies to you. And you as well, Wukei.

He leaves.

Fine, whatever, all who have spoken and not left...... Aerin? please see them all to jail. Thank you.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Kyrian was blocking the doorway, Your Honor, I'm not sure it's really fair...

[Renegade Paladin]

"Who's 'they,'" Gaheris grumbled. He rolled his eyes, snapped his fingers, and disappeared, to reappear in the normal time stream outside the courthouse, across a random NPC from Percival, who he had called in to provide a target for knight's move.

[Wukei]

Wukei skips out, to avoid the wrath of Gwen and Aerin.

I will not tolerate arguing in the courtroom after I've ruled, it is disrespectful and finally they have all LEFT. This trial is over. Aerin, thank you for your patience.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Aerin nods and leaves as well.

Gwen leaves.

[Supagoof]

Supagoof finally closes his mouth after hearing Loki plea guilty to all of the charges. Some god of mischief, I wonder what his game is?...

He stands and turns, watching the others file out. After that, he vanishes.
