So I'm making a homebrew race, and I need a name for it. It looks like this:

I drew that in Algebra.

Anyways, I've been calling them imps, monoptics, cyclopians, et cetera, et cetera, but they have no official name yet. Some help?

How about a Microps?

EDIT: PS, that's a really good rendering. Nice skills.

Thank you, thank you!

Anyways, Microps sounds better than any name I've come up with so far (much better than monoptics).

Some info on the race itself: Three subspecies, one of which is winged and blue-skinned (Flyers?), one of which is thick-clawed and grey-and-brown skinned (Tunnelers?), and one of which is brown-and-green skinned with fins (Lakefishers?).

I need names for each of these, as my names for them suck incredibly.

How about daemonaires, terronicons and limnerids?

What's the race for?

Those are good names for them. I no longer need to hurt my brain coming up with ideas.

Thank you, once again.

Edit: Whoa, D20ragon ninja'd me. Anyways, they're for... a surprise world I'm thinking of making when Fading Echo's fleshed out.

How about Cyclopulus? Half cyclops, half homunculus? Probably too literal...

This other suggestion takes some explanation. I've always that Zork's Grue comes from gruesome. Linguistically I think grue comes across as a word stem, but didn't actually mean anything until Zork showed up. In that line, how about borrowing the Grote from grotesque?
