These already exist, without the Weapon Focus prerequisite:

Except... that one's for two weapon fighting.

The bonus from Improved shouldn't stack with the regular one, otherwise you're making it more powerful than a shield (which is silly). And make it a shield bonus.

Oops, totally overlooked that, sorry.

Katasi: Why do You want to make a defense feat especially for two-handed weapons? Anything that works with them should work with one-handed ones as well.

Simply, when using two weapons you have two-weapon defense, because you can't use shields, with a one-handed weapon, you CAN use a shield. But with two-handed weapons you are back to having no shield. And in real world terms, fighting with a two handed weapon is drastically different on the hands than a one-handed weapon, so unless you where like say using a longsword and switching back and forth constantly, you'd be totally of kilter using the same skill[feat] for more than one type of weapon.

drop the "this bonus stacks". Thats broken. No improved feat ever stacks with its predisesors. (some feats stack with themselves: Toughness for instance). Weapon Specialisation and Weapon Focus illistrate my case.

...any with the inovation of magic, anyone can use a +1 mithril animated buckler at no penalties. Anyone. So... I dare say that the argument "oh... both hands full... not profficient...etc...so I cant use a shiels...cry..." is over.

Who the heck has those in their campaigns? Besides,that toally ruins the flavor of the campaign, at least for my campaigns, I like my players to have to choose between adding a little extra damage or a little extra AC, sorta a specialization if you will.

Opposed on the grounds that THF is already more powerful than TWF. TWF should at least have an advantage THF doesn't have.

Now it comes closer to what I actually intended.

Nitpicking = dexterity, not agility.

Can this feat be used in place of Weapon Spec. to qualify for feats and PrCs?

Without this feat, two-handed weapons deal more damage while with one-handed weapons a shield can be used for more AC. If You implement this feat into Your campaign, two-handed weapons are more powerfull than they should be if You don't also give one-hand wielders the same option. Also, if Your character already needs a weapon focus for the used weapon and the higher AC only works for the 'focused' weapon, doesn't this already represent special training for every single weapon?

yes, that's why I switched it from saying a two-handed weapon to saying a weapon you have weapon focus in, so that it literally is an opposite of weapon specialization, defense over damage.

Hmmn. I had a crack at doing something like this many moons ago with two Parry and Counter Attack (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?p=280065#post280065) Feats, intended to complement Dodge. I think there was a Block Feat somewhere as well.
