Can anything special be done with the ENEKO?

So to those that don't know

ENEKO are just like half giants except, they also get a penalty to charisma, and no stomp. They get a bonus against poisonous, and get two SLAS , pass without race, and endure elements.

They also receive dark vision

and a free martial proficiency with a bow. Otherwise, that is pretty much it.


Anything special can be done with them?

Pretty much most of what you could do with a Goliath or Half Giant, due to Powerful Build, can be done with an Eneko.

I personally like them as a non-psionic alternative to Half-Giants.

The only silly thing is the longbow proficiency is a bit of a waste, as the Giant type gives them full martial weapon proficiency anyway. Only use for it is if the pick up a template and change types, or Dark Chaos Shuffle.

One certainly could use primordial giant, but you'd want to watch out for the stat adjustments that template makes. It hits Con and Str pretty hard, so you might end up with a less than satisfactory set of modifiers.

If I remember right, it makes con +0 , and makes str -2, and gives you a huge boost to casting stats, and nasty things like invisibility at will?

They could also make decent warmages, as decent as Warmages come.

Did I mention I have a Warmage guidebook in the works? :smallbiggrin:.

A Primordial Eneko has the following stats:
Str -2, Dex -2, Int +4, Cha +2
Choose Invisibility, Invisibility Purge or Levitate as an at will SLA
All SLAs at +1 CL
Add any one Knowledge skill as a class skill
+2 racial bonus on Spellcraft and UMD checks
Add Warlock to favored class(es)
...in additional to standard Eneko special abilities.
