Ok, I'm contemplating a Pathfinder game I'd like to run, and due to the flavour of the game, I'd really like to open up the options on player races as much as possible. Beyond ordinary mortal races: I'd like to give the option for 'monsters', Outsiders and all sorts of weird stuff. Savage Species in concept seems ideal, monster classes ect, but I've heard bad reports of it from a balance PoV, even in terms of 3.5.
So... any thoughts on trying to balance SS, or something like it with Pathfinder? Has someone done monster classes before?.
