I'm thinking about making a Anima mage, and want to know what you guys think would be the best caster to choose to get it started

Some notes:
It will be binder focused, so only one level of derivative arcane class
I can use Precocious Apprentice
Assume balance party (so I can focus on killing stuff)
I kind of want to be a warmage, but they are kind of weak
No online vestiges will be used

What do you want to get out of the character? What type of party are you rollin' with? What types o' creeps you gon' be killin?

Don't know yet, although it will be me and four other people, one of who will be a wizard.

If you want Warmage/Binder entry, you can get 2nd level Warmage spells with 1 level of Warmage and the Versatile Spellcaster feat (depending on the DMs reading, may also require heighten spell, but you need a metamagic feat anyway).

It won't be the most optimal combo, but in a mid-op group with roles covered, it can be a decent blaster, with utility from vestiges.

Also, maybe see if the DM will let Uncanny Trickster or Legacy Champion advance your Anima Mage casting/binding advancement continue beyond 10th (pre-epic).
