grappling weapon?

hello i need help finding the right weapon.

i am building a goliath barbarian with the emphisis on grapple. im looking for a weapon that you can use to initiate a grapple. reach preferrably. the same way you can use a whip or spiked chain to trip.

the level is 4 so are there any magic items for my price range i should consider.

The only one I can think of are spider Scorpion claws (I think that's the name) from sandstorm. IIRC +4 to grapple and they can be used to attack with in a grapple.

I don't have a 3.5 Monster Manual and it's not on the SRD, but kuo-toas use an exotic weapon called a pincer staff that might work for you.

Second edition also had something called a Mancatcher, but I don't know if it ever got updated.

Mancatcher is in Complete Warrior, but I can't remember whether it uses grappling rules or just Strength tests or something.
