Is it OK to title a thread largely with a quote from Dante's Inferno? E.g., "Lasciate Ogne Speranza Voi Ch'intrate: Yet More Tier Discussions"? (The translation, while amusing, is not critical to understanding the thread discussion.)

I'll leave the question on whether or not it is permitted to do so for a mod to answer. I will simply say that it is not helpful to the activity of any thread to use an obscure quote as the title. You should design thread titles to convey in easily understood terms what a thread is about (as you have done in this very thread). Failure to do so means that you will be effectively eliminating a number of people from the conversation who either do not understand the thread title and thus ignore it, or who are searching for a thread on that topic but cannot find it due to the title's lack of relevance.
