Some help

So i decided to play a beguiler around lvl 6 (or something like that) and wanted some help to know some good builds and tips.

Also searching around the web I found this two builds:
-Beguiler 5 / Mindbender 1 / Beguiler +2 / Shadowcraft Mage 5.
-Beguiler 6/ Mindbender 3/ Shadowcraft Mage 5

Are they any good? Why only put 1 lvl of Mindbender?

Anyway thnx for the help.

I would assume the 1 level of Mindbender is for the Telepathy... which is a requirement for the feat Mind Sight from Lords of Madness.

One level of Mindbender is to offset the Advance Learning feature of Beguiler, also the Midsight feat is very useful. Mindbender is really only good for 1 level because of the loss in caster levels and the diminished usefulness of its later abilities.

Im AFB, Is Shadowcraft Mage the one in RoS?
Because I think you Have to be a gnome then.
