[PF] Do Synthesists get their eidolon's ability increases?

Normally, an Eidolon gets an ability increase every 4 HD. Does a synthesist summoner gain an ability increase once every 4 HD of his Eidolon as well, on top of his own ability increases?

The Eidolon still gains the Eidolon's ability increases.
I'd recommend you put them into STR, DEX, or CON however, or else they will be wasted entirely.
