A recent thread got me think about potential titles for future strips - silly or awesome titles that indicate an OotS comic we'd really like to read. I came up with "Lightly Seasoned With Nutmeg".

Any other ideas?

That would be awesome!

The best I've got is, "Sometimes, plot doesn't have tuppence".

All references to other media need to be kept to their most absurd. Other potential titles: "What the Superman/Batman Teamup Will Look Like," and "Thor: The Snarl World."

While "trope" for "narrative device" is a common usage these days, I'm pretty sure "subverted trope" originates with TV Tropes, which the Giant does not read.

While "trope" for "narrative device" is a common usage these days, I'm pretty sure "subverted trope" originates with TV Tropes, which the Giant does not read.

That is simple not true:
The Giant had specified he doesn't intentionally reference it and doesn't read it regularly, but from time to time he reads a few things:
Yes, I am aware TV Tropes exists as a website.

No, I do not read it regularly. Most of the few times that I have ever visited the site came as a result of someone linking a trope that they feel I have used in the comic, and I followed the link so that I may understand what their criticism/point is.

No, I have never decided to do something in the comic because it was listed on TV Tropes. I don't use it as a checklist for ideas, as has been claimed, and I have never intentionally referenced it in any way.

<...>

So it is certainly possible that he knows the term but if he uses is in any form for the comic, it should be coincidence and/or referencing something else.
