Greetings.

Joining an ongoing campaign, advice on choosing a good build to fit the current group would be much appreciated.

The group composition is as follows:

A half elf summoner, with the eidolon styled as a fighter. Possibly an alpha striker, but this unconfirmed at the moment.

A human paladin of Iomedae, who due to a long drought of decent dice rolls, mostly gets punched in the face.

A human cleric of Pharasma. Heals, blasts undead with channeling, the usual.

So, they have no one who can deal with traps and no knowledge skills of any import. The highest intelligence score in the group being 12. Social skills are covered excellently, and the DM said adding another divine caster to the party would not be appreciated. The campaign itself is Eastern European Gothic Horror, similar to Ravenloft in tone.

Thank you in advance for any and all suggestions. It is most appreciated.

Straight Wizard. Summon a demon to trigger the trap. If you want to go ape**** on knowledge rolls, go Wizard 8 then Loremaster.

Ya, Wizard seems good really.

If you want to be more Gishy, you can go with Magus or Bard.

Bard will make you more Knowledge oriented (Well, Vanilla Bard) and Magus will make you more Fighter oriented.

Though, it seems like either a Sorcerer or Wizard is your best bet. He even has Invisibility, so you can go Stealth Wizard Support if you want.
