Hello everybody
The campaign setting is the spider queen 3.0 adventure I believe not 100% sure because I usually don't want to know tell after but I plan on making a fighter specialized in thrown weapons Str/Con based stats the material we can use is anything that's written in an official wotc book from 3.0 to 3.5 as long as there's a book with page number of feat/class/race etc. we can use it
this is what I have in mind
I plan to start off Barbarian 1 to get the rage ability for situational purposes and the extra 10ft speed then go warblade 5 and go into the iron heart stance and at 6th prestige into the blood storm blade so that i can get the returning effect on the weapon without having to waste money for the magical enchantment
feats wise I am looking at power throw and brutal throw for sure but outside that I am not sure I asked my dm about taking shot on the run and if i can full attack with the feat and get full move and he's allowing it which id like to take but not sure if the feats required for it will hurt me or benefit
this brings me to my race and templates i plan on making a lesser earth genasi and adding the dark and mineral warrior template to it because from a rp aspect I can make a story based of he's from underdark type setting and I feel the templates and race meld really well together and the extra move speed from mineral warrior will bump me to 50 and I plan to take iron heart stance for another 10 putting me at 60 which is why I'd like shot on the run
this is what I am planning but would like any input on my build where you'd improve what you would take away or add or if you know a better root to go let me know I'd like to hear them all

Okay. Then read the Weapon Handbook (http://www.minmaxboards.com/index.php?topic=9053.msg183871#msg183871). Check back in a few weeks. I'm finishing up the Armor Handbook.

I recommend a Feather Cloak. It's armor made from vulture feathers. No ACP, MDB +6, and it looks bad ass. Plus you can say you made it yourself in the wastelands.

Or Mud Armor. Mud armor is dirt cheap.

Other then those items what about feats or a view on different classes?

I am going to completely ignore your post and reply only to the topic :smallcool:

For a thrown weapon specialist you could go Ranger/Scout with the Swift Hunter feat(complete scoundrel) letting your levels stack for favored enemy and skirmish. The goal is to full attack with a bunch of thrown weapons and still move to get the skirmish bonus.

One way to do this(probably the only way with thrown weapons) is to take a one level dip in the variant Cloistered Cleric(unearthed arcana), making sure your deity has the travel domain and swapping out the domain power for the feat Travel Devotion which lets us several times a day for one minute swap our swift actions for movement.

Cloistered Cleric is also nice for swapping the knowledge domain power for Knowledge Devotion which gives you free attack and damage. I can go into this in more detail if you wish.

A one level dip in cleric however will give multiclass penalties unless you choose a race with cleric favored class. Raptoran (Races of the Wild) fits the bill well and also eventually gives you flight which is nice. Other options are female Lesser Drow and some silly anthropomorphic stuff.

For equipment you probably want to get gloves of endless javelins (magic item compendium pg 194, 7000gp) goggles of the ebon hunter for +1atk/+1dmg and darkvision (magic item compendium pg 108 18,000gp) aside from that you want to boost your dexterity to keep your to-hit bonus high.

Also, before you get to the cloistered Cleric dip you will probably get your skirmish+full attack from Anklet of Translocation (magic item compendium pg 71, 1400gp). This is not a permanent option however since it is only twice a day[you could stock up on them...] and since it is only 10ft we can't benefit from the feat Improved skirmish which needs 20ft of movement for +2d6/+2ac.

There are a lot of nifty items that require a swift action to activate which makes it incompatible with Travel Devoition+full attack, however

Let's see what else...

Two weapon fighting feats are gained through ranger levels, you need to keep your scout and ranger levels even to avoid multiclass penalty, Woodland Archer is feat to consider since you get so many attacks and hate to miss, fractional BAB rules are very nice to have with the cloistered cleric dip, favored enemy undead, constructs, ooze and plant change you from being useless against them to a huge threat to their existence. Finding a way to overcome DR would be nice.

Edit: I have another thrown "weapon" build

Some combination of Warblade1/fighter6/feat rogue1/Hulking Hurler1/bloodstorm blade2

Feats
1 Imp unarmed strike
3 Power attack
6 Point Blank shot
9 Imp grapple
12 Scorpions Grasp

Bonus feats
f1 Imp Bull Rush
f2 Dungeon Crasher
f4 Knockback
f6 Dungeon Crasher II
r1 Weapon focus(prereq for hulking hurler)
Hulking Hurler Throw Anything

Your ogre can now punch one guy into another guy, the second guy takes massive damage if it get's pushed into a wall. To do this at a lower level you can opt out of the Dungeon crasher stuff.
