As the title says, are there any medium armors where you can retain your full movement speed and therefore make battle caster and medium armor proficiency more worth taking?

Mithral (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/specialMaterials.htm#mithral)
" Most mithral armors are one category lighter than normal for purposes of movement and other limitations. Heavy armors are treated as medium, and medium armors are treated as light, but light armors are still treated as light."

Alternatively, be a dwarf.

Hmm. While true, I don't think it's very useful for Battle Caster. Mithral medium armours are treated as light, so that Battle Caster doesn't even need to come into play. (Or Medium Armour Proficiency, for that matter.) Mithral heavy armour, on the other hand...

I'm thinking it might be worth to suck up losing 10ft movement and wear Mithral Full Plate... As Ravens_cry says, they're essentially treated as a category lighter, but it actually works out by BEING a category lighter, making the feat combo unnecessary. Good thing full body armor doesn't hurt Reflex saves.
