I think either Elan or Roy needs to respond to Tarquin's comment (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0927.html) in panel four, saying that Elan doesn't play Second Fiddle, he plays the Kazoo.

Either that, or Elan should pull out a fiddle and start playing it, saying,
:elan: "Look Dad, I'm playing my second Fiddle"

That could be cute.

I think it's extremely ironic that Nale did in fact play second fiddle and accepted as much during the Battle of Azure City. He was keenly aware of his status as a B-list villain and exited the area rather than get tangled up in a fight larger than him.

It's almost like Tarquin doesn't know either of his sons that well.

edit- Double checked, he doesn't call himself a B-lister (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0458.html). He mentioned D-list characters being part of the battle. And he refers to himself as a major recurring villain. He acknowledged that Xykon is a major villain though, which is more than Tarquin did.

As some people have noted, Tarquin's statement is as wrong as could be; Elan plays second fiddle to Roy, Tarquin and Nale (as major villains but not the main villain) both play second fiddle to Xykon. Tarquin's the only one who doesn't acknowledge it.
