If you use alter self you get all the racial feats and skills.
Could you alter self into a human and get the bonus feat and pick up something like extra spell so you can make sorcerers more versatile by gaining access to any spell in the entire sorc/wizard spell list at the cost of a standard action?
Under the feats for the player handbook it says a human character gets a bonus feat at level 1 and this feat can be any feat the character qualifies for.
Would you say it follows the retraining feats variant rule and that any qualifiers for prerequisites have to be at the level the feat was obtained, so in this case level 1? Which would make the extra spell feat unattainable.
If the pseudo paragon surge won't work, what other good feats could you pick up from this?
