View Full Version : Revisiting War Mind's Sweeping strike

Friend of mine decides he's going to start a new game, level 10, and my first thought is playing a war mind. I've never really ever gotten to play one, so this might be the time for me to shine in mediocrity.

I did find one blip that occurred to me after reading sweeping strike again. The ability only mentions specifically that:

"...his attacks apply to creatures in those two squares equally."

Wait a second. This was the ability that let me have a mini whirlwind attack, but now that I've read it again, is it telling me that I can strike large+ creatures twice with every swing?

No. It allows you to hit all creatures in the 2 squares, not all creatures in each square. So you can hit 8 tiny creatures but you only hit a large creature once.


How does Sweeping Strike(War Mind) or Mighty Swing(War Hulk) deal with feats like Knockdown or Improved Trip?
