can you slap an item familiar with combo feat of ancestral relic, and stack the two into a super magical annoying item?

Ancestral Relic lets you spend GP to give your special item magic item abilities without having the appropriate item creation feat.

Item Familiar lets you spend GP to give your special magic item abilities without having the appropriate item creation feat, plus extra stuff.

Neither says "you can go over +10 worth of enhancement bonuses".

What would having both keyed to one item accomplish?

Hint: nothing. The answer is nothing. You would be wasting a feat for no benefit.

Your Ancestral Relic feat would only serve to limit the total value of your Item Familiar's magical properties, including intelligent item powers. If you're going to get both feats, you should never pick the same item for both of them, as there's no benefit but definitely a drawback to doing so.
