Magic Jar and Death Throes

Death Throes: the spell that isn't worth a cantrip. Blow yourself up when you die, dealing damage to those around you and preventing you from being raised. But what if you cast Magic Jar and went inside a goblin, cast it, and left his body? If you catapulted the goblin over castle walls and it died from fall damage, would it explode instead of you? That would be a silly way to kill enemies with minimal damage, but the question is, would it work?

Skimming thru minute details and rules aside, I'd say, since the range is personal, I'd say no.

I can't see any problems with it. Magic jar does carry over your class levels from what I can see. Death throes doesn't allow the spell to be dismissed early either.
