i am running an epic level compaign for me and a few of my more experienced gamer friends. it has hit epic level pretty quickly due to high optimizations and i need some monsters capable of giving a good challenge without a tpk. the epic level handbook is decent, but it has things that are completely initiative and luck based for success. the hecatonchieres will probably tpk unless you get the initiative. and even then you will need some fantastic rolls to do so. these guys, however, can oneshot bone oozes, so i need something worthy of them but not completely ridiculous.
