Dawn Caller needs more jazz!

So dawn caller, the job is to stand watch over the night, and be all protective guard, and ritual the sun up in the morning.


So we have a d8 class, 6 + int , full bab , songs , that are sort of marshel like in affect, and full bardic music per level count.


It just seems ... I know mechanically it can be worse, but it just needs more to spice it up. Even if it as lame as having a light spell as an at will SLA, you can call the sun, but you can't make light?

Torches instead? I'd rather see something around the vocal tradition of goliaths. Perhaps they can chant or whatever past deeds to incite even greater rage in fellow barbarians in battle. That they have extrasensory skills at night, and that they get Awaken or a great shout to raise the camp should danger befall them during their watch.

An ability to use a bardic music turn, and shout out infront of them, and get echolocation back ... so they can "see" invisible folks or stealthy ones at night.
