Archery mechanics question ?

I would like to know how it would work:

1st round: cast Hunter's Mercy (Spell Compendium, p. 117).
2nd round: cast Arrowsplit[swift action] (Champions of Ruin, p.28) and then shoot from bow with Splitting Enchantment (Champions of Ruin, p.42).

You choose the most beneficial order.

Splitting specifically states that it applies the none-splitting affects.

So; 1 arrow becomes 2D4+2. The first arrow which successfully hits the target causes an automatic critical hit, regardless, however.
