I've been collecting my house rules into a document, and it occurred to me that it might be useful to have a list of pre-approved homebrew. So far I can think of Owrtho's Ozodrin (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=153536), Draken's Evolutionist (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?p=13115715), and Kyeudo et. al's Truenamer fix (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?p=11971747).

What other homebrew should generally be considered acceptable for your average game?

I'm a fan of Kellus' Xenoalchemist. (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=205119) I also like the Voldur (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=238557) (half elf/half orc), very well written. TDO's Dancing Leaf (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=85614) discipline fills a very entertaining niche for melee combat that ToB did not hit.

If you've got a magitech bent, Person_Man's Magitech Templar (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=176276) is a nice melee beatstick with some great utility (low T3). The Machinist (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=262484) is essentially a reworked, magitech Swordsage. Finally, Kellus' Grammarie (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=291019\) is extraordinarily well written, but it comes with a warning - it can smash campaigns if you're not ready. It can win any numbers race if the player doesn't show restraint. Only allow mature, reasonable players to use it - people that need to be the Biggest and Best should be shot before touching it.

I find myself referencing Drolyt's Vow of Poverty Fix (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=140428) more often than any other homebrew.

I've become fond of the Swift Hunter base class as an alternative to Ranger :)

Are you referencing an actual base class or just a Ranger/Scout using the Swift Hunter feat?

I believe that he's referring to jiriku's homebrew class the Swift Hunter (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=170358).

Gnorman's E6 isn't bad, though it obviously works much better in an E6 context (though they might be usable, provided you multiclass out afterwards, possibly through prestige classes). D20R is also consistently solid, even if it isn't strictly D&D 3.5.

I'm a big fan of Spellshaping (http://www.minmaxboards.com/index.php?board=64.0). It works sorta like Tome of Battle for magic. So, it allows for non-warlock, all day, blasting (de)buffing and area control. It also has a huge variety of feats, abilities and classes.

While not technically homebrew, I'm also a big fan of gestalt.

ythxu

In all seriousness, porting from d20r to 3.5 is pretty straightforward, and I'm more than happy to assist if people need it.

There's a number of cool 3rd-party classes and archetypes for PF on the PFSRD. In particular I like the Priest, Shaman, everything to do with the Occultist, the Psionics stuff of course, and SGG's archetype packages.

besides self made homebrew the thing that I find myself using are Kenneth's 2 fixes to the Vow of Poverty (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showpost.php?p=12433473&postcount=15) and his evocation school (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=223006) fix

Jiruku paladin (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=187700) is great\

and Mammon Azrael's warlock (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=226021) is in the top 5 if not best ive ever seen homebrew on this whole site.

I will take a shameless plug and toss in my Own healer (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=272245) as I think that its the best Healer re-tooling ive come across.
