I'm surprised no one noticed this before, but Elan says "May I borrow a corkscrew? A woman's life my depend on it" it should read may.

Elan was in a rush, he didn't have time to check what he typed.

I find the fact that you believe that NOBODY has ever noticed this before (in all the years since this strip was published) to be mildly humorous. Did you think you were some kind of typographical savant? The fact is that typos do not get corrected in the online strips, although they usually are fixed for the printed books if they are noticed quickly enough (as they almost always are).

Fun Fact: The typo is still present in current editions of "Wars and XPs."

I'm surprised no one noticed this before, but when Haley is talking in gibberish to Elan at the restaurant scene, she says (translated) "I'm not exactly what you call--" and never finishes. Maybe the next word was going to be 'human', indicating that she is half celestial!
Really, why is it that no one has suggested this before?

Seriously, people have noticed before. And they have proposed outlandish theories like Haley being not human based on that one line. This isn't anything new.:smallsigh:
